Lebron has really just put the Heat/ Riley on blast with his ultimatum...Riley's cornered into bringing back wade for another title run because they're part of a buddy system. It's delusional to some extent.

Best thing for the Heat is to re-sign LBJ and Bosh as priorities and low ball the hell out of Wade to create the cap space to add other help. He was an empty jersey at times out on the floor. He really shouldn't be paid more than 7 million at this point for what he brings -- and even then I'd rather have Ariza or Deng. I'd also send Haslem packing unless he's going to play for the minimum. 10 mpg for the playoffs aint ****. Miami needs to look to several affordable solid players who can ball without all the glory: Patty Mills, Marion, Jordan Hill, Bayless, and Ariza. There's really no shot blocker to be had so they're up a creek next year for rim protection.

Is it still possible to offer up front loaded contract like Hinrich had back in the day? Possibly offer Parsons starting salary of 12 mil the first year, and evens out to 9 by his 4th year. See if Houston would hesitate to match.

Not sure. I know there are max raises in a contract, so you can't have a balloon payment in the end, but I don't think I've seen anything where you can't do one a little more front loaded. HE would really be the guy that might have a less chance of a match than Hayward, depending on how they feel about the tax. Though they might like one that declines too considering Harden's and Howard's escalate each year.

If Lebron doesn't sign with us, we can get this guy...

Am I the only person that's mind blown by the fact that LeBron has never in his career been the highest paid player on his team in any season? I realize that he makes a ton of money through endorsements and such but still, WOW.

Kyrie Irving agreed on a 5 year extension worth 90mil with Cleveland. Fans must be so relieved.

Nope, only 4.5% decrease per year is possible.

He really isn't that good. Plus he's not the greatest teammate either apparently.

He's like 20
For a 20-21 year old he puts up monster numbers his potential can be amazing.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

That potentially sets a precedent for other PG's looking for a deal in FA this off season. Bledsoe and Lowry are at least 80% the player Kyrie is, so they may feel they deserve 80% of that kind of deal.

Idk I hate giving that much money to potential. That's just me. I understand that's probably a terrible business strategy in sports.

Irving's attitude rubs me the wrong way too. Then there's his reliability with injury issues.

He can't get much better scoring wise, he needs to work on being more efficient, and setting up his teammates. Happy for Cleveland, had he signed before the draft, perhaps they would have ended up with a different pick.

I don't know man, he just tweeted out the he feels blessed to play for the cavs and is in it for the long haul. I agree he got paid a TON of money but that what teams have to keep their stars. I'm kinda surprised he signed that contract extension this early.
I like Draft Picks/Cap Space, long walks on the beach, and short youtube clips.

If he plays like he did this last year, he would be pretty good, but not for more than 7 or 8.

Isaiah Thomas has received interest from the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons and Phoenix Suns.

Thomas is a restricted free agent, giving the Sacramento Kings the ability to match any offer sheet or execute a sign-and-trade.

Thomas was a second round pick in 2011 out of Washington.

This is a joke. McDonough's fetish for PGs is almost worse than Sarver's fetish for brothers.

What the hell are we trying to get all these PGs for? We already drafted a PG in the top 20 when there was clearly no need for one and now we are trying to snag one in free agency too?

Thomas
Bledsoe
Ennis
Dragic
Plumlee

Apparently that's the lineup we're trying to get.

And if its to replace Bledsoe, I would much rather have Lowry than Thomas who has never played a lick of defense his life and is severely undersized to be a guard along with Dragic who isn't very tall for a SG to begin with.

Archie Goodwin is better than any of the scrubs we are gotten or shown interest in this summer including Tyler Ennis, Kent Bazemore and now Isiah Thomas.

People need to realize that 75% if not more of what you read out there is smoke.

Well there have been reports that McD was looking at possible S&T scenarios and other people have mentioned that eventually he does not want to pay Dragic AND Bledsoe big contracts, so I think there is a reasonable chance one gets let go or traded by next offseason, especially if we go after someone like Love in free agency, or even after we get him. Paying them both AND concerns about Bledsoe's health could make him think about a deal eventually but I think there are few teams that would trade for him with so many good pgs in the league.

You mean we're not signing 18 free agents?
