No Kevin Durant draft for dynasty.

Sounds good. Who were you looking to take at 32? I just want to make sure I don't accidentally take the player you might want there.

Nice try lol  I did like 1 hour of research last night for this years draft to be honest. Not anticipating a haul like last year.

Looking at who was drafted in the 1st round, I only recognize Wemby and Scoot. No clue who all these other players are.

I have to admit I had never heard of Cason Wallace before about an hour before I drafted him last night. I don't really watch college hoops and with the bucks and suns not picking until late this year I paid almost no attention to this draft class.

Knowing my roster was **** I actually planned to study the rookies a bit but then my kids were on fall break and I just never got around to it.

I wouldn't have wanted him even before yesterdays news. I never trust dudes like that to keep their nose clean. Cynical view but most people really don't change much.

I wasnt anticipating Cason Wallace to go so soon. He's potentially a VERY long term guy. Maybe OKC is flirting with moving Giddey to get shooting in their starting 5, but even so, I think there are still so many guys ahead of him in the pecking order in OKC that it may be a while. And Isaiah Joe already brings really good shooting at the guards for them.

People are really big on rookies this year though which is interesting.

Simmons podcast today talked about OKC's moving of Dort, Bertans along with some of their millions of picks for.......anyone that comes up.

That's the crazy thing about them, they can outbid for any star that comes up. I personally like them for Biid if he becomes available. Chet along with the other 2 I mentioned and whatever number of picks that gets it done. Pretty good team imo

My team isn't going to win anything this year so I can be patient. I was concerned with the log jam in OKC but they had one last year and Williams ended up being viable anyway so we'll see.

But part was simply that once Cam Johnson was picked i decided to go lotto ticket rookie and of the rookies I was looking at I figured I would trust Presti.

I'll give you a hint of who one of the players was. He played for the Suns for the last 4 years.

My team isn't going to win anything either, but it won't ever be bad enough to get a top pick. What's worse is that Middleton went from being my 2nd best to one of my bottom keepers...him being injured most all of last year didn't help. The Dame trade certainly doesn't help either.

I am curious how Smart's stats change though.

Yeah I agree Presti feels safe. That was a factor in my decision to grab Jalen Williams last year too . I think because of the Presti factor that Cason Wallace probably has potential to be a real NBA player and like you said its a matter of patience with him.

And good point from Slim about how OKC can potentially consolidate a bunch of guys into a star. Maybe Cason gets his opportunity on another rebuilding team (does OKC even count as a rebuilding team anymore? lol) or they move a bunch of other guys. I'd have to think a rebuilding team would want Cason though.

For the gamblers on the site; OKC is currently +170 for over 46.5 wins this season.........

I think Terovibe wants us to draft for him since we selected Wemby for him.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

He and Kyler Murray are in Greece, so you can always check google. It's 6:13 am there.

I see. Everyone should also remember they can give a top 3/5 to someone else to keep the draft moving.

Yeah, they usually do. And make sure if the few people before them are up and it's getting late in Greece to try and get their picks quickly. I try to but have watched so many where Kyler Murray or Terovibe are likely waiting up and then finally they probably check out and 2 or 3 picks are made at like 1 am time in Greece.
