Dragic and Thomas does not a backcourt make.

Who? The only ones left are Miami, Orlando, Philly, Milwaukee, Detroit and possibly Houston. Dallas could offer him quite a bit too if Houston matches Parsons....pretty much that same offer.

Come to think of it, that Dallas situation does kind of scare me, but they do have Felton and really need a 3. Houston will have max space, but they do have Beverly who is dirt cheap, and really want a stretch 4.

Philly won't do it. Orlando COULD, but they could just let all their young guys play, and they signed Gordon to be the vet guard.

Hopefully Miami signs Deng to take them out of the picture. So that leaves Milwaukee, who doesn't have max room, but they could go close to it. And Detroit, depending on the timing and what happens with Monroe.

Maybe your right. Bledsoe signs a contract and then Phoenix has 3 days to match - So, technically he signs the offer before the Parsons' contract uses a chuck of their cap space and then they sign Parsons and go over the cap. - I'm not a JD in Law so I don't know for sure.
If they had money to max bosh they have money to max Bledsoe.
They still have over 24hrs right?

We will know by Sunday. Houston may pass on Parsons. If they do. Bledsoe.

The problem is, if they were so eager to get Bosh signed so they could still match Parsons, why would they not match Parsons only to sign a RFA that could be matched? Then they'd have nothing.

I'm interested to see how they do because if you are Harden and Howard. YOU ARE PISSED.

That means in a hypothetical scenario we would want to work hard to get our moves down before they lay down a fat bloated offer sheet and give us a three day window.

In this scenario our FA will be over sooner than later.

This doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't the Suns just say, listen, if you want to play with us, sign with someone else, because we'll take you. But if you don't want to be here, work with us, and we'll figure something out. If you do want to stay with us, then be patient, let us make our moves and help us make your team better?

This front office hasn't had to be very adversarial, so far. I would think we have an arrangement, one way or another, with Eric and his representation.

I would be if the price was low. People calling him a bust way too early. I hear he is now in super shape after the disappointing rookie season.

He could potentially play stretch 4 too. As a college frosh, 16 ppg. shot 37% from 3, 58% from 2, 8 boards, 1.2 blocks. Not many freshmen do that. I think the NBA was a wake up call. Bet we see big improvement going forward.

I'm watching the summer league game. Taking a day off. :) He's athletic, and he can shoot.

@WojYahooNBA: Atlanta making aggressive, late pitch for Pau Gasol, league sources tell Yahoo. $11M-plus a year, sources say. Gasol likely passes on offer.

Any change either Horford or Milsap becomes available if Gasol picks ATL?

As it stands

Bledsoe
Dragic
Tucker
Morris
Plumlee

Bench:
Thomas
Green
Morris ------> i think that will be battle of training camp Marcus vs warren.
N/A
Len

Suns have some serious firepower off the bench if warren makes the lineup.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

No. The whole idea is to build around Milsap/Horford.

1. Either Goran or Bledsoe is gone. There's only 96 minutes to divide between Bledsoe, Thomas, Dragic, and Green in the back court. No matter how you slice it, someone gets screwed out of playing time who deserves it. Given Thomas can only play PG, and Green only SG, the lack of flexibility means that we're paying ~$11 million to have good players ride the pine. Even if you assume Green can play SF, he'd still be competing for minutes with Tucker, Warren, and Morris. Not happening.

2. Unless we add Kevin Love somehow, the subtraction of Channing Frye and a top 10 guard and onlly adding rookies and a slightly above average PG means we took a step back this offseason.
