Laker have probably won the lottery, because of course they did

Well, the Lakers could now very well end up with a difference maker...if it improves them quite a bit quickly (doubtful), it will at least make the pick we traded not a great asset that Philly got, especially since next year's draft is weak.

Lakers were going to get a good pick no matter what, so no big deal. Rather not see them get Towns though.

Fixed at it's finest. Knicks can't catch a break receiving outside of 3. Lol

I told ya. That's why McD traded this ****' pick.
It'll be worthless AT BEST.

Wiggins and Towns? With Rubio passing? Dieng to hold the fort down, along with Pek in the middle...Payne as a backup stretch 4? That could end up a scary team. The last thing I wanted was for two WC teams to get the top two picks.

Plus they will have a healthy hungry Randle.

It was pretty easy to predict that the Lakers would get in the top three. We start in fourth and end up fifth. ATL starts up in fourth, goes third, and we end up with the fifteenth pick the following year. So glad we don't have to revisit that past.

It gets tougher and tougher to not think the lotto is still rigged. :D

Well to add to the misery, we also get the Miami pick moved back a season.

They will have a decent core group, but will lack vet leadership in a tough West. Plus Rubio and Pek are always injured. But if their young guys can figure things out quickly, they will be a team no one wants to face.

If anyone convinces themselves it's rigged because of this draft, that is crazy, considering it went almost exactly to form. The Lakers had just about as good of chance as the two teams ahead of them to move up 2-3-4 odds were pretty close. Plus, you would think if it was rigged, NY would move up, not down, and that Minnesota would not be winning it.

I'm not worried about them next year necessarily, but we are a team rebuilding, as they are, and Utah, Sac, etc. I'm talking 3-4 years down the road when we all hope to be seriously competing in the playoffs.

I of course may be wrong, but I think LA and NYK will strongly consider trading their picks, maybe Minny too. PHI seems content to hang out at the bottom.

With Rubio at mid-career, and Wiggins able to perform well already, they could use an experienced, playoff-proven performer to bring in, and they now have a very valuable asset to do it with.

76ers are gonna get that pick next season, its only top 3 protected...LAL won't be worse than they were this season with Towns and Randle back healthy.

Excellent!

Good boost for Suns chances of trading with Knicks.

Give them Bledsoe, Morris twins, Tucker, Pick 13 for Pick 4 + Calderon

They need to re-tool whilst Melo is a star. They still get a lottery pick with Pick 13. They also have more cap space to sign Monroe or Jordan.

Bledsoe 14
Morris 8
Morris 5
Tucker 5

32 million

Suns draft Mudiay or Russell (first preference)

Wolves are likely to pick Towns.

I put a smilie face after it. :D It's just odd that we never catch a break in the draft, even when we have the same percentages as other teams that have the same odds in different drafts. Plus it's getting easier and easier to predict top three picks even early in the seasons.

Many of us predicted that NO would get the number one pick years ago, even at the start of that season.

Wolves have an amazing future ahead barring injuries..
They can even pick up some more draft picks by trading Martin and Pekovic.

I'd run with Rubio, Wiggins, Muhammad, Towns, Dieng....

I agree with you on at least the Knicks.

Bledsoe + #13 for #4

Bledsoe & Morris bros + #13 for #2

if they cant attract any FA, they'll tank again (forcing injury, blablabla, everyone knows their MO)
if they hit in FA, this pick will be poor for what was supposed to be (top 5)

McD did a really bold move here and worked.

If Lakers draft Okafor... they have Randle and Okafor as their PF/C combo... with Kobe handling the ball, those two will struggle to get some inside points.

I think lakers will take Mudiay...
