That is disappointing. The Knicks? Seriously? Amare played eight years with the Suns, made multiple WCF, won many playoff series, so many individual accolades, and he retires with a team he never played a full season for and won one playoff series with. How could he choose the Knicks over the Suns. I wonder how his relationship is with Sarver.

Probably business reasons somehow connected to NY area. I see no other logical explanation. I'm disappointed though that one of my fave Suns retires a Knick of all teams (ok, a Laker or Spur would be much worse).

If this is true, then it is sad and unfortunate. Amare is silly with his Knicks talk, but McD and Sarver are silly to not honor their players from great days. Amare could have done some things and would have been a perfect low minute vet PF we could have used. He could have shown Marqueese his to play the post facing the basket.

Very sad to see and hear this. Players and agents are taking note that PHX does not honor and respect their players.
