Sorry if I’m skeptical of Doncic in a big way. The euro league is overrated and hasn’t produced a whole lot of talent to be honest.

Name 5 superstars that came from the euro league from the last 5-10...shoot go back 20 years, I sure can’t. I can easily name 5 from the last 5-10 years college.

Doncic is setting up to be one of ur biggest busts in recent memory and a large part is too many people are crowning him the goat before he steps onto the real floor.

Maybe not all superstars but lots of good or great players from europe over the last 5 years....

Giannis, Gobert, Jokic, Porzingis, Capela and some lesser names like Saric, Bogdanovic, Sabonis, etc..

Giannis and Porzingis being the only stars out of that group. The rest are role players.

Doncic just helped real madrid to win 2nd game in spanish league final by scoring 20 pts, adding 9 rebs to go along with 3 assists in just 24 minutes of playing time. 29 rating.

The funny thing about the tip, it was for a bill over $250. Im guessing it wasnt just Ayton by himself. What are the odds that someone that was eating with him left the tip after Ayton paid the bill?

She then proceeded to blast him on twitter and in tweets that have been already deleted, she was talking about how he is the #1 pick NBA player and gets paid MILLIONS of dollars and how there was only $10 left to her. Came off very.....suspect. Like im talking about 3 or 4 tweets that went in on how he makes a ton of cash and shortchanged her. She also mentioned the tip should have been 20-25% which she was getting flamed for before she erased it.

I think it might have been a miscommunication with the people he was eating with and she saw an opportunity for a cash grab and took it. You hear about NBA players and famous people dropping tips that come out more than the meal, and i truly think thats exactly what she was expecting and disappointed when she didnt get that. Ive had that happen to a friend, JCVD gave her the 15% tip and she was talking mad s**t because he has the money to spend (And dropped a couple thousand on the strippers), but only gave a 15% tip to his waitress.

When people see money or know you have it, they get greedy. He dont even have that contract yet, most likely being fronted money by Duffy knowing he will be getting it back and then some in a week.

Also, shame on people for attacking the girl based on how she decides to spend her time/money. Thats not what this should be or is about.

But that is something he will have to work on a lot in the next years. I think he will have some problems first few years, while Ayton has the potential to be much better from the start because NBA is more athletic than euroleague.

IMO those are things you cant change. You cant learn to be faster and you cant learn to more agile. The only thing he could do is get stronger. Would help him around the rim but could also just make him even slower.

You can take a guy like Jared Dudley and just only train him to be the most agile best dunker in the league....Its not going to happen.

You cant teach athleticism.

It is true to some extent. But like Popovich said, SAS are not looking for crazy dunkers or super fast players and they won 4 rings since 99' i believe?
So if he gains a bit more quickness while also bulks up his muscles he will have much easier time later on. It is different from person to person but i know i was way more athletic and faster at 25 than i was at 18/19, because i put much more effort in training specific muscle groups. A lot of players said the same, some people even say they are more athletic at 35 than 20 because they train like crazy.

But with that being said, i have no clue how much effort Luka will put in a physical training but he did mention it is one of his top priorities... time will tell.

That's why I prefer Ayton. My comment was pointed at the people who underrate euro ball. Here the term ball hog is never used, in NBA you basically can consider any team's star a ball hog, just a different approach for the game.

If we had the #2 pick, I would expect us to take Doncic, even if other teams wouldn't. But teams like the Kings, who you hear may take Bagley with their pick, would most def take Ayton.

Before the lottery, everyone wanted Ayton. People use one game because they want him to fall. Best talent in the draft. I dare anyone to name someone better as a whole. Skill, check. Size, check. Athleticism, check. Stats, check. Bagley would be next in line.

I don't know...we had polls throughout the season and it was split...Doncic actually won more often than not...this was pre lottery. People have more so shifted towards Ayton post lottery.

Yup...

I don't want to insult anybody's intelligence but come on guys! Don't tell me you can't recognize that SlovenianDragon is trolling. WTF. You guys are coming with arguments, stats, doing research online, and he is laughing his ass off in front of the screen. I gotta give him credit for that, he spots an easy target, Doncic's super fans, who for some reason are taking him seriously and hits them with most obvious trollposts ever. I mean... it's kinda epic, really. :)

As for the bad tipping tweet... you can't be serious. I wouldn't have tipped her anything after such behavior, not to mention that as her employer I would have fired her first thing in the morning. Unacceptable to be calling out customers over twitter. He has my full support, this really pissed me off. The entitlement some members of that generation are showing is unbelievable.

I'm not going to judge Ayton or the waitress on this one story. It's silly.

He probably should have tipped more, but...
-Maybe he is running low on money? He hasn't signed that big deal yet and has yet to get a single NBA paycheck.
-Maybe he got bad service?
-Maybe there was a miscommunication?
-Maybe someone else should have handled the tip.

As for her, getting short changed SUCKS, but putting that on social media is a big NO NO. Most places would fire her right away.

The "service industry" is actually a tight community and word spreads quickly about which local celebrities are cool and which local celebrities are pricks.
