Ayton > Butler though.... not even counting Rubio. So like.... that means we the best team in the league. #SquadUp #SunsDaBest #MVPBook #AronBaenes

Been watching the Suns since they started sucking. Finally I said "f that I had enough" and stopped watching them. And now they started playing good. Guess I am your bad luck charm.

Welcome back! :) I still remember I said to you that you'll be positively surprised this season as Jones knows what he's doing. Now hope the team don't prove me wrong too soon, but the chance is very slim.

We already won the 2 games that I say we will win the 1st 10 games, so everything that comes from now on is a gift.
Let's keep fighting.

If we beat the Jazz on Monday, I expect we will start 5-1...

I’m just waiting for my credit. I’ve been saying this is a playoff team since before preseason. I even called this win and loss against Denver before it happened. Just waiting for lilfishi and bwgood and whoever else to acknowledge someone who knows the game of basketball.

I’ve been saying 6-8 seed but I might’ve been wrong about that. Now I’m thinking top 4 seed. Only teams better than us when healthy are nuggets, clippers, maybe lakers or rockets. Suns should earn a top 5 berth for sure.

This team is gelling well. Even without Ayton we’ve almost made a 3-0 start to the season. The chemistry of the team is what is propelling us to wins.

Treating players like assets and chips doesnt work. Sure we could trade Tyler’s expiring and get a pick or more talent, but I think it’s been proven by Ainge and McD’s track record, that we cannot underestimate the impact and correlation of chemistry and wins.

I hope we make no trades this year at the deadline if the team is going well.

Tough to remember what everyone had said. I made an official predictions thread that started a couple weeks ago that not many people participated in. I just locked it too but could open it back up if more people want to post their opinion even though the season has already started.
Initially I had the Suns pegged at 48 wins but wanted to temper my excitement after seeing everyone else had such lower expectations of the Suns. I lowered them a bit, but not much.

Not sure about the Suns being a top 4 team, however the early season success and excitement is great and hopefully attracts more fans to show up to the games and even more viewers to the board. I will say, success this early shouldn’t be construed as the other teams sleeping on the Suns. I’d say typically in the early parts of the season teams usually give 100% effort to see where they measure up in the league. We should be considered a legitimate threat this year and the league will notice this very soon if they haven’t already.

The reason I say top 4 is because I believe suns have a top 3 defense and the intensity and hustle doesn’t stop. Add Rubio ayton and Jerome and this is a really good team on both ends. Might be the deepest team in the league

are monroe or Andrew bogut viable options as backup center for us during Ayton's 25 games absences if the suspension stands?

I really didn’t think the Warriors wound even make the playoffs this year because they just don’t have the depth they used to, and while Curry is a future HOFer I think Draymond is just a glorified role player. DLo is good but I don’t think this is the team for him. Anyway Warriors are down big to the Thunder.

Down 40, wow! they are taking g over the tank commander role the Suns held, they are bad, outside of Curry and Dlo not sure where any scoring comes from they also dont have much shooting on that team, its a pretty poorly constructed team looks like McD put them together

Better hear media rip into Curry saying how he is overrated and he shouldn’t be an all-star. Betting though I’ll hear the opposite and hear how Curry doesn’t have a good supporting cast.

I voted a 9 out of 10 for the off-season moves by James Jones. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1879077#p77983869

I felt the team would be much better but I don't think anybody imagined we would see the level of intensity we are currently witnessing on defense. I would have probably guessed 35ish wins but now expect closer to the upper 40's. Hope that will be enough to get us to playoffs.

What made Green good was he could pass, play defense, set screens and not have to score because they had three of the best shooters in the history or the game. All their role players. Iguodala (bona find 6th mad - maybe more than role player), Cook, Livingston, LOoney, McKinnie, Bell. The first time they had Bogut and Barnes, but they upgraded to Durant. It took such pressure off all those guys because of Curry, Klay and than KD. Green is not going to be what even Toni Kukoc was to the Bulls when Jordan took the 1.5 seasons off.

The Warriors are on the hook next year for Curry Klay and Green at 100m. If they keep Russell - thats 128. Looney is another 5m. The depth just isn't there. They really better hope those rumors of Teague/Covington - or speculation rather - for DLo comes to fruition. As Teague would work better with Klay and Curry next year; And Covington is a nice 4. But this year is going to be brutalk

I have no idea when Curry and Draymond will get shut down - and load management might start early in the season but I think post ASB - -- Curry will be shut down.

NBA will fix Curry's supporting cast problem. Dubs miss the playoffs and end up with good lottery odds. Silver will hand them the number one pick this offseason. Then Klay returns ... poof ... Dubs contending again.
