Phoenix

Jeremy Lamb
Position: SG
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 179 pounds
Age: 20
School: UConn

Analysis: The Suns need just about everything, so they can afford to take the best player available. But Lamb hits a sweet spot for them at the 2-guard position. They didn't think he'd be available here and he gives them length and shooting.

Trade Scenarios: It's been pretty quiet in Phoenix.

Suns' Big Board:
1. Dion Waiters
2. Austin Rivers
3. Jeremy Lamb
4. Kendall Marshall
5. Arnett Moultrie

How embrassing is it for the Suns to have him say "its been pretty quiet in Phoenix" regarding trade scenarios??

Uh...not very?

It's hard to be active on the trade market if you don't have any trade assets!

Marcin Gortat, Jared Dudley, Markieff Morris, cash considerations, cap space etc all disagree with you.

Well, Paul Coro and Chad Ford think that we take Lamb.

Coro last year predicted Morris at 13 too.

Gambo says he is probably our first available choice too.
If Lamb is available, we have a player. Great prospect.

Suns will trade Lopez for another pick and draft Jeremy Lamb and Fab Melo.
Point.

If Raps draft Waiters, the Suns sign&trade Nash for Waiters.

I'd certainly be OK with all of that. Lopez I don't really care about. If we wind up losing Nash, there's no reason to keep RoLo since we will no longer be competing.

Lamb is good i guess. he's the guy I wanted before I got on the Waiters train so it's fine. He's got a helluva lot of potential.

What time does the draft begin?

It says 7 pm on NBA.com but does that mean the coverage starts at 7 or the actual draft starts at 7?

Heck Yea!!! He is my first choice since Ross doesn't like Phoenix....anyone who doesn't like Phoenix is a foe of mine  Plus Ross and Lamb were toss ups. Lamb is better now, but Ross weight gives him upside in the post; if he never reaches that post ability and develope handles....Lamb is better anyway.

Other:

I am glad we are quiet about trades...don't want to show your hand.

I'm cool with Kief. He showed me he is smooth down low. Needs to bang more...no starter though.

Nash signing depends on Gortat, thus we aren't trading him before July 1st... Means will have to buy a pick in this draft.

Sorry Tastic, but Gortat is worth WAAAAAYYYYY more than Patterson and the 16th; have you started drinking before the draft :-?

I think we still keep Nash, why? Dragic has a deal in place and Williams isn't coming. Also, the Suns haven't traded Gortat. If the Suns planned on not resigning Nash and eventually trading Gortat, why wait until after draft? Makes no sense.

Sometimes you guys have to get your emotions out of it (Sunsfan88) and think logically. The proof is right there in the pudding. We are cool as Xmas snow because we know what we are doing; doesn't mean it is the right thing though :o

It'll be an important day for our francise:

- our front office should know whether Nash wants to come back or not (at least I hope they do)--> If they draft Marshall, I think Nash will be gone

- if we draft a wing player, though, I'm sure that he'll back next season

- if we draft a big guy, it vertainly screams for a trade. We don't need a guy like Moultrie right know and I'm not buying this "BPA" stuff.

4:30-9 is what it says on my T.V.

Im not sure when the actual draft will begin but I assume you will want to watch all the coverage?

Gambos' Latest Tweets

Hearing Suns pick should come down to Kendall Marshall or Jeremy Lamb. And slight edge to Marshall right now.

Suns like Moultrie but not over Marshall or Lamb plus they took a power forward last year in Markieff Morris so I don't see that happening

If we draft Marshall its clear Nash is gone. I think Lamb is exactly what we need and it looks like he'll fall to us.

Return to Phoenix Suns
