Rockets working on Bledsoe with a lot of competition.

Morey doesn't want to give him more than 2 years at this point. He may have to cave.

Nothing that id consider close.

Bledsoe doesn't want to be seen as one of Moreys "assets" either. He is being careful and looking at his (limited) options.

He wants some stability...

Said this too:
I see him possibly doing a big contract with small years.. Or add more years but with a nice discount

Yeah I don't understand this. If Bledsoe wants stability why doesn't he sign the 4/12 offer sheet? The only reason I can think of is that he feels he's just a trade piece and not part of the long term for us.

I want Indy's unprotected 1st without taking back George Hill. Not sure it's possible if they were to trump our 4/48 offer.

He's in his prime and just started peaking. He's they type of player who is your clutch guy in the playoffs and can win provided there is a cast of players around him who share the load. Dragic deserves more credit than he got last year. He was the **** Phoenix Suns last year. We need to maintain and add star talent to this team.
Despite being left off the all stars - Dragic is still a star. He's our marquee star player. Keeping Bledsoe gives us the likelihood that Dragic is not alone running the show, however, Bled has to actually show up night in and night out.

I understand that NBA players are quite fraternal and advocate for higher pay for each other...but I wonder chemistry wise how his teammates think about Bledsoe demanding to be the MAX guy after playing half the season and thus being the primary factor behind the Suns not making the playoffs.

Come on now, you have no way of knowing if Dragic can continue to put up those numbers consistently and be worthy of 15 million a year. How do you know he can be "your clutch guy" in the playoff's? Based off of what? Dragic is a fine player and a borderline all-star, but I don't consider him to be untradeable or our "franchise guy".
Goran Dragic as your teams best player is not going to go far in the playoffs, that is if they make it at all.

I said we need to add star talent. And Dragic was terrific in terms of consistency last year. There was no indication of a fluke. He proved that last year and we were arguably one of the most entertaining teams to watch last year. And it was because he was the tip of the spear in Hony's system. I'll take it.

You don't want to give Dragic the max? That's fine, I get that. I too would rather spare the cap space if we can and pay him 12 per year. That'd be fair but in a competitive free agency he's still worth 15. And I think enough people might agree with me.
One of my main points is that Dragon deserves more of a max than Bled but the FO needs to look to adding players of equal or greater talent as him. Why continue to add marginal talent to a roster filled with sixth men or borderline starters? The only way I can envision the rumors being true and somewhat justified is that if McD doesn't see Dragic prime years within the window he anticipates being title contenders -- but I'd argue that Dragic can likely keep this up for another 5 years of giving 18-20ppg. I liken his game Ginobs with less physical height. Put that alongside Bledsoe and a big who anchors the middle on offense, on D and on the glass and we're ready to compete.

HAHA...trade them back Green and hook em up with two later first rounders for unprotected pick. They'd still have someone then to put points back on the board and he'll be around the following year to run with Paul G when he comes back provided they extend or re-sign him.

Maybe this whole conflicting sources thing with Plowman and Cyberx is Houston's way of trying to snip out the mole.

who did that happen to with us? IHG?

Is TJ good and/or good fit for the Suns? Rockets don't seem too high on him though his stats are good.

Also didn't realize how much Rocket fans hate their coach. Yee.

Suns aren't trading Bledsoe for anything on Houston unless it's for Harden, but then we'd give up a lot more than just Bledsoe. Maybe Bledsoe/Plumlee/Green. But we'd be giving up a ton for a snobby player in Harden.

Plowman is a fraud, that's pretty clear.

Okay someone tell me what's wrong with Terrence Jones? His WS/48 was 2nd on the team last year (AHEAD of Dwight). Statistically compares very well with Keef but a different style. Attacks the rim on offense. Better shot blocker. Great motor and still very young (22). Personality wise would seem to fit.

Terrence Jones, Nick Johnson and Pelican's 1st for Bledsoe? I would definitely take that. They might have to dump another contract to make the numbers work depending on how much they agree to pay Bledsoe.

It's become clear that, for reasons we may never know (until Gortat releases his autobiography in 15 years), Bledsoe doesn't want to be a Sun. It's not about the money or he wouldn't be at the table with Houston discussing a shorter term deal. He wants out of Phoenix. TJ seems to have an attitude that will work well here with Hornacek.
