Wow one of their mods seriously thinks IT is "better than the whole Suns roster combined"?

:lol:

That's in interesting question. Who on the Suns roster would you trade for IT, straight up, right now?

I am way to much of a homer, I just don't see IT as a good fit on this roster.

Maybe Bender. Maybe Ulis. Certainly not Book, Marquese or Josh.

I think Bledsoe, now that he doesn't play defense anymore, is close to IT.

I still don't think I would trade him for IT straight up despite the knee issues Bledsoe has.

To answer your question, Len, Williams, Chandler, DJJ, Knight, Barbosa, Millsap, Peters, Price, Reed and Dudley.

I have zero problem with our involvement in the Jackson/boston workout. Bit of theory. far fetched but works.

Ainge's guy all along has been Tatum. Trading down to 3 would be risky if you really wanted Jackson as he has been rumoured to go anywhere in the top 3 leading up to the Philly trade.The Jackson workout is set up to orchestrate a smokescreen. The news would leak - Boston have a last minute workout with Jackson. Jackson wows Boston. Boston considering Jackson over Tatum, Ainge is able to squeeze us for some assets to move up and pick the guy we absolutely love in Jackson. Ainge ends up with his guy and assets from the 76ers & Phx.

So we change the story, which is only possible by absolutely screwing Boston over. Let them fly over to sacramento and then cancel the workout. Piss off Ainge and let it be known that Jackson cancelled the workout, to ensure Boston can't spin the story they want.
So B.J. Armstrong help us out to gain some favour by the front office.

theory over.

I Loved the Suns Draft!!! Though don't know much about Peters. I was watching the Miami team against North Carolina State (night before Draft) on that Draft Prospect scouting reports (darealjuice??) and that game was listed under Dennis Smith Jr. - Davon Reed reminds me of Raja Bell skills wise!! I wanted Jackson or Isaac so I was happy Jackson dropped!! I'll watch the 3 games I have of Kansas another 5-7 times until Summer League lol

Keep forgetting the Mavs got DSJ at #9. The Ntilikina/Smith debate will be a good one to follow.

I've been dormant from the Suns forum for a while. Do you all see why we traded IT? We knew he was capable of that, but you need a historic offense or a historic defense to win a championship (preferably both). Isaiah could give us neither, with the lack of ball movement he provides. The Cavs, Warriors and 2014 Spurs just proved it; iso ball is the past. Ball movement is the future and the present.

The Celtics have a bunch of B guys. Hayward's a solid B+. So is Paul George. We have a bunch of B+ to A guys that haven't fully developed yet.

In four years, we'll have the better team. I guarantee it. Until then, we can't say much of anything to C's fans. Grace is better than foolishness, 11 times out of 10. Don't poke the bear with nothing to back it up.

I am a fan of both teams, I live in Scottsdale, and don't disagree with you about the Celtics roster (you go a bit too far on IT but he is a flawed star), but Booker is the only guy who has shown any real glimpse of being a B+ guy, and it is easier to put up stats on a bad team, I am not saying other players won't turn into B or B+ players (and arguably Bledsoe is already a B player). Has Chriss shown some flashes he could turn into something really good, yes, but nothing consistent that he will be an all star,, likley starter sure, all star would be a huge strech, maybe but won't be able to tell for a another year or two. Bender was hurt alot and Dirk had a bad first year too, not saying he won't someday turn into a great player but both of those guys are a long ways away from being anywhere near Paul George, Gorden Hayward or Isiah Thomas. The Suns picked up some really nice pieces in this draft and last, I am a huge Josh Jackson fan (I am originally from Kansas) and he is a perfect fit not just next to booker but as a swiss army 3/4 next to Bender if he pans out. I watch all the nationally televised KU games, he is going to be a star if he improves his mechanics on his shot. Bender is a wild card but Booker looks like a lock to be an all star someday and Jackson and Chriss have a ton of potential, there will likley be one more lottery pick next year and Chandlers deal is getting closer to being done and next offseason can be easily traded. The future is bright.

I think that our guys are actually further along than most people realize. We were in a lot of games last season. Adding depth at 2 and 3 with Jackson and Reed should give us a good boost, not to mention Ulis being in the rotation all season. There's gonna be a lot of chatter about "The Suns are the youngest team in the NBA - HOW ARE THEY THIS GOOD?!" Not in the playoffs by any (except miraculous) means, but they're going to be a lot of people's favorite league-pass team.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

This is what'll happen. Ntilikina will be okay in NY. DSJ and Malik Monk will do very well in Dallas and Charlotte. NY will be pissed that they didn't draft one of those two. Ntilikina will eventually be traded. On his new team, he will do very well.

Also think about it like this as well remember in 2013-14 we won 48 games and missed the playoffs? I feel like that team had way worse talent than we do now. When you look at the roster now its like how was that possible to win 48 games? I can see us coming out like gangbusters next season and surprising a lot of people.

Seems Like Booker/Warren/Chris/ulis all got a lot of exp last season. Bledsoe will back. We added depth to our bench in what seems to be some good rookies.

I wouldn't be surprised if we played above average.

I think our starters will be fine what I'm most excited about is that I think our bench now will also come in with fire and blow up apposing teams.

Maybe I'm just an optimistic suns fan but if our 2013-14 team could get 48 wins with the roster we had I think we will also surprise people this year.

If that 2013-14 team played our current team in a 7 game series what would the record be and who would win?

They won 48 games that year.....I'm thinking we will surprise people. IDK how many wins we will get, But I think its going to be good.

If we give a chance to Knight I'm sure we will start the season with a losing streak. Dude just harms. However, if we go with a 10-man rotation like this:

Bledsoe (28), Ulis (20)
Booker (35), Reed (10), Bledsoe (3)
Jackson (25), Warren (20), Reed (3)
Chriss (20), Bender (20), Warren (8)
Chandler (20), Chriss (10), Williams (18)

Total minutes:
Bledsoe = 31
Booker = 35
Jackson = 25
Chriss = 30
Chandler = 20

Ulis = 20
Reed = 13
Warren = 28
Bender = 20
Williams = 18

No Knight, no Barbosa, no Dudley(maybe sometimes)

then we can surprise people with 30-35 wins or more.

Nobody in the rotation in 2013 was under 24.

We have 7 of them as of now.

McDonough's best accomplishment is somehow convincing Sarver to build through elite draft talent for 3-4 years.

Knight and Chandler were the win now avenue that would have replicated the 2012 lineup if continued.

First of all if anyone thinks Jackson is starting over Warren you are still in some draft day dream world where Warren isn't on our team.

Next I would prefer Williams over Chandler

per 36:

Williams: 18/15

Chandler: 11/15

Williams is a lot younger and plays with heart.

Bledsoe/Ulis
Booker/Reed
Warren/JJ
Chriss/Bender
Williams/Chandler

Is the way I see it.
