I've heard Koko at the podium. His English is fine. I'm sure he says "foul" just fine.

Yeah, I have no concern about a language barrier. I'm just pretty sure Prunty was telling them how to defend on the last possession.

I'm just questioning him at the moment. Obviously it's early and our roster has serious issues but I don't like him at the moment. Lost locker room? We'll see. Players playing lazy is on the coach. It is something that can be taught despite what Igor says.

Coaches with winning pedigree do not want to deal with Sarver.

And Bender at least TRIES on defense. Anderson is old enough to know that he's not good or even average even when he tries, so he doesn't.

I *try* harder than any NBA player you have ever seen. I'm 5' 8". I *try* like crazy. I have to play hard or I get clowned. I'm small and slow. I'm Jared Dudly and Dellavadova, minus 8 inches.

But trust me, you don't want me on the Suns.

Trying is nice and all. But Bender is a 100% scrub. Im sorry.

Anderson is currently WORSE than Bender was last season by just about every metric. Even if Bender regressed, he'd be about the same as Anderson. Bender actually got a tiny bit better between his rookie year and his sophomore season. Let's at least see if he made even a minuscule improvement.

Why? You're defending Bender a bit harder than I can understand.

I am not disagreeing about Anderson.
You keep bringing him up.
And I keep agreeing with you. Bench Anderson. I agree. Bench Anderson. Anderson is bad. Don't play him. Bench him. I agree with you.

But with Bender, well, I don't agree with you.

The problem with the last 6 seconds was who ever was guarding the two celtics players in the right side corner didn't come out to help with Morris. I think it was ariza and warren ?

Cannan and booker did what they were supposed to. They forced the ball out of kyrie's hand.

Stoppit.... this is so not true... cause Kanter would bust your ass if you looked at him or a teammate wrong.

Ayton is as passive as they come. Zero mean streak. No temper mon, such a dont worry be happy attitude. He's got his $$, his #1 status. I remember the bad feeling I got when they were introducing the draftees... he came out and showed off his new watch/jewelry I swear to god.

How do you coach up a bad motor? or a 'its OK to lose' mentality. He will get owned by any toughie. Really.... has anyone seen him pissed off yet ?

I cant figure out Igor yet.... but any team that doesn't foul when up by three like that has to either be not listening or weren't told. Which is it?

Now, Its time for a collage.... cant hurt.

Yeah, Enes Kanter has a serious motor.

I quoted poorly. Responding to itlnsunsfan post about language barrier when he said "Ugh. If this is true, it's really bad. Makes me wonder again if Koko's lack of fluent English is a problem.".
But yeah it seems like the white haired dude is the one who calls defensive sets (must be Prunty? I dont know his name)

Your workplace communication is irrelevant. This was a basketball huddle. Obviously there was a problem. There is no way there should be a miscommunication at that point in the game over something so simple

This loss was because of defense, completely. Its normal to focus on offense and missed shots. But we lost this game with 4th quarter defense. Bad transition D. Bad perimeter D. Bad all around on defense. That's what lost it.

The basketball huddle is a workplace in the NBA. I think my experience talking to people in English is relevant. But whatever.
And maybe there was a problem. I did not disagree. Im just saying that the problem was not English.

Little Igor is too much of a soft beta to ever earn the respect of the locker room outside of Bender. There is no way Booker respects him.

LMAO I said the same thing the other game. Thought it was Knight sitting on the bench.

just found out he is Jamelle McMillan who is the son Nate McMillan.

Frank, do me a favor and watch your favorite "tough guy, n'er do bad" current NBA big for 4 whole games, without watching any Suns game. Then watch a Suns game. I think you'd be surprised at how good Ayton actually is. If you want to really see how great he actually is, go rummage up some tape from your favorite "tough guy, n'er do bad" current NBA big's rookie seasons.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

C'mon, the language barrier isn't a problem. Did you listen to his press conference? I mean that's ridiculous. We will struggle if Ayton allows layups like that and Booker tries to play hero ball. When we were moving the ball the first 3 qtrs and everyone was involved we did well on offense.

Someone mentioned that once Booker went hero mode he was the only one who scored other than Warren. Well, of course, what do you expect? Canaan missed some 3s but he had hit some earlier and I would have rather had Bridges in there, but I can understand wanting a good ball handler in there at the end.

I was surprised at how well we played the Celtics tonight though overall....especially after getting the Memphis win and playing Toronto tough.
