The warriors CANT tell the suns "hey we LOVE stephen curry so much! If hes there at 7 the deals off". No matter how you cut it, thats just not a good business proposition.
Catchall:The Bucks traded him for Monta Ellis and did well in that trade.If they can move Biedrins and Jefferson without losing much more than Barnes and another pick, I will be genuinely impressed.Iguodala is a short-sighted contract. Overrated player.

GS fans know nothing about basketball; they didn’t even want curry in the first place. If Nelly and his mommy were so in love with him, why not bring him for at least a cup of coffee? Give him at least a decent press conference, 3 minutes is not going to cut it for any player. Curry must be pissed out of his mind, also why did curry slap the table when GS selected him, aside from not being picked later to the Knicks? I mean, who gets pissed off when a team picks you and you show your emotions like that?

GS will always be garbage cellars, the suns had a bad year last year and they still finished ahead of these scrubs, go ahead hold on to all your guards like a bunch of idiots. I could care less, I would love for amare to stay on the suns, I’ve said that many times. I can't wait for amare to drop 50 on you pricks...i mean who is going to guard him? Randolph? The guy can barely stay on his two feet when amare drives to the rim.

GMs sometime say the opposite of what they plan to do, remember when Kerr said he wouldn't trade a player just for salary related purposes than turns around and trades Shaq for salary relief?

Don Nelson isn't a trustworthy guy either so let's wait a few weeks and see what happens...

Riley = good cop

Nelson = bad cop

Kerr = some loser they picked up and roughed up good

Riley said on draft night that he was operating under the assumption that Curry would be a Golden State Warrior...you guys think the W's staged their excitement when Minn selected Flynn?

That's the thing. No Suns fan really wants Amare gone! It's just that management decided not to continue with him so we are looking for the best deal. Amare is unreal, he would make the Warriors much better than they are now. You fans are CRAZY for wanting Curry over him. Absolutely nuts.

Khoee, they were probably excited because they thought they had Amare....then they realized they can try and get amare without including curry. They were happy to get stat since curry was the guy the suns wanted at 7.

Agreed, if you think having a deal broken is being roughed up.

Good luck with that one, LOL. Hope it works out for you.

the W's have all the leverage here...if the Suns want to do the deal, fine...if not, fine...one way or another, Kerr has to move Amare this summer...

a) warriors board went crazy when curry was drafted.
b)I'm sure the warriors tried to schedule a workout with curry.
c)Curry has addressed those issues in numerous radio interviews., several times. Regardless, he's a professional and will play for the warriors if asked, and seems relatively optimistic.
d)I personally would love amare to the warriors and would give up curry. My point that theres no need to drag the warriors fo through the gutter was a separate point.
e)I do believe you have access to inside information, and that no ones understanding of the situation was complete (even kerr's it appears). Hopefully we can be at least civil to each other.

UMMMMMMM. The Suns have the leverage. W's have wanted STAT forever. This is their one and only chance. Worst case, PHX gets a deal with another team. Amare is the asset.

You're right. And I think it's dead unless Curry or Randolph is included.

The only way for the GS front office to save face is to follow through on the verbal agreement.

My only question to management is why is Amar'e not worth a max extension. Dude is a beast. 2 freak injuries and management thinks he is injury prone for life.

At the end of the day, Nelson will want Amare more than Curry.

we'll see...if the W's sign Curry on July 1, he's definitely off the table...I think Nellie means it when he says Curry won't be traded...

Riley is an idiot then. You always have contigency as in drafts - whacky stuff happens - like Thabeet being picked 2nd, the Kings passed on Ricky Rubio. So "shtuff" happens in a draft. Now, do you really think GSW didn't have a clause with Phoenix that said "well you know, if for some reason Blake Griffin gets to 7th, and we know he is not going to number 3, BUT, BUT if Blake G gets to 7 = we will take him."

So, if the alibi of GSW is "we didn't know he was going to be there" - well that is just bullsheet. Too bad its not more then a handshake and too bad the Commissioner, who should be named Auntie DAvida Stern because he has no "cajones" , to do whats right. I am not buying the GSW alibi - thats weak and bull crap.

If the cheer really happened in the Suns room, then their thinking had to be Curry was being picked for them. I think GSW did a bait and switch.

I agree. And I think he'll be signed.

Unless GS starts having serious conversations about how they're going to look in the wake of this.
