I read somewhere recently that a bunch of former NBA players were playing in a summer tournament or started a summer tournament and whoever won, got 1million dollars. Warrick was apart of that group.

Lack of Rondo rumours, suggests to me McDonough and him have something going.

Now we're meeting LaMarcus Aldridge's agent, and paying Knight 70m.

Couldn't make this up.

Lol if the Suns do somehow end up trading Tucker and Bledsoe for Love, then sign Rondo.

C - Len, Wright, Leuer
PF - Love, Markieff
SF - Warren, Granger
SG - Knight, Booker, Goodwin
PG - Rondo, Ish?

I wouldn't totally be opposed...

I can't believe people are believing any of the Bledsoe stuff.

None of it comes out of Phoenix.

Why would we want to make Knight our PG after how poorly he played in the few games after the trade? We traded for him to be our SG. People need to let go of that "2 PG lineup". We would play the same style wether our SG is B.Knight or Alec Burks and it is not like shooting guards punish anyone in the post anymore.

All the Bledsoe rumors are started by outsiders who are ignorant and try to sell their assumptions as actual information. Sadly this is how 90% of the American sports media works.

Also why would we sign and trade for Love? Love is an UFA and in a sign and trade you can't get a 5th year anymore. There is no reason to do a sign and trade at all, neither for Love nor for the Suns. In the unlikely event that Love leaves Cleveland and wants to come to Phoenix we would just sign him.

Talk about Millsap being a better bargain is none-sense. Millsap will likely get max type money himself.

The Suns need to look at Thaddeus Young and Kostas Koufos. Those two are more realistic targets and would improve the team a lot.

Actually, considering Rondo's value is so low, we could probably sign him for $5m/yr, pay Love $20m/yr, and pay Danny Green $10m/yr. Green and Rondo have the same agent, Rondo and Love are friends. Sign Ish as filler. Of course, McD is a huge believer in Rondo. He had him ranked as the 2nd best prospect in the 2006 draft despite him going #21. Rondo also has a lot more incentive to perform on a 1yr deal. A team of:

C - Len, Wright, Leuer
PF - Love, Markieff, Marcus
SF - D. Green, Warren, Granger
SG - Knight, Booker, Goodwin
PG - Rondo, Ish

would definitely make the playoffs and wouldn't mortgage the future. Unlikely to happen, but an interesting scenario to get rich quick.

Rondo is a disaster and Love a loser.

Rondo is not signing for 5M$ and Green is not signing for 10M$.

Even for vet min, I wouldn't want Rondo anywhere near the team.

The guy had a good chance to turn the Mavs into an elite team but instead he never bought into the team concept and clashed with his coach. He was so toxic for the team, Carlise sat him before the seaosn ended. I don't want him near our youngins especially when he isn't even productive any more

Earl Clark and LMA are very good friends. Most everyone in Portland thinks Clark has a stellar coaching career ahead of him and he is very highly respected.

I think that is the primary reason the Suns are getting a look.

Earl Clark is not with us anymore... I'm confused.

I don't get all the posts about not going for Aldridge....the best free agent who appears to be set to move on from his current team and who fits our needs/team perfectly( oh he has agreed to have a meeting)...got to aim high. I don't think 2nd rank free agents are going to so upset they refuse to sign with us and ultimately who cares if trying to get Aldridge cost us a shot at carroll...I can live with that...i couldn't handle hearing Aldridge saying he (for some strange reason) wanted to come to phx but we were busy selling carroll on playing for us....Realistic or not got to pursue the absolute best chance to win a championship...aldridge does that more so than Carroll.....

Is "EarlBlackJesusMonroe" reputable? Someone in the comments implicated that he has previously spoke about his "sources."

Complete BS, you can't get a 5th year in sign and trades anymore. If Love was willing to come here and if we want him we would just sign him for free and not give up substantial value to sign him.
We would trade Tucker for nothing and just add Love to Bledsoe, Knight, Warren and Len.

Return to Phoenix Suns
