I always thought the plan would be to play Bender at backup C thats seems to be where he performs better while also getting him mins at backup PF so just swing between those 2 positions will Big Sauce brought back to pick up whats left. Chriss will be given the chance to be the starting PF in my opinion and if he fails I think they make a big push at the trade deadline to bring in a young PF a team is not going to be able to resign or wants out of his current team.

He's a nice young c. Great backup for ayton and will be one of their best defenders.

Very curious what they gave up. Holmes is actually a pretty good player.

Obviously not in the market for Montrez Harrell now - 1.6m - so thats pretty cheap.

Nothing but cash is an awesome deal. I bet it’s the cash we saved from the Dudley move.

So it’s basically Dudley and 2021 protected 2nd for Holmes. That’s a move I make all day.

So does this mean we're not going to pick Sauce back up? :(

So we traded Dudley, a 2nd round pick, and cash for this Richaun Holmes dude and two of our own summer league guys? Who needs to make big splash off-season plays for top 15 players when we can just do this every year. God I love this team.

Great trade. Dude is a real player.

Other than reading his stats - don't know much about him but here is the question - is he better than Sauce on the basketball court from what you have seen ?

Sauce is a very good teammate and rebounder but if it were between Holmes and Williams - who do you feel is better to play with Ayton Bender, etc?

(granted, it looks like Chandler is being bought out so Sauce still might be an option - -per Gambo about the buyout)
