It's a terrible deal. We seriously got nothing for a borderline all-star. :noway:

Good that he is finally gone. Wasn't a leader, didn't make teammates any better, overpaid, bad knees, **** agent and Suns couldn't reach the playoffs with him.

"Uniquely protected"

??????????????????????????????????????????

The Bucks retain their 2018 1st Round Pick if it meets ANY of the following conditions: lottery protected 1-11, if the pick is an even integer, any pick that is divisable by 3 and/or a perfect square root, any pick that lands on a prime number or falls on the birthdate of any of Mr. Edens 4 lovely daughters.

Appearently the 'prime number' clause was a sticky point for the Suns, as they requested the Bucks reduce it to every other prime number which wasnt impacted by any of the other conditions. The Suns finally conceded when the Bucks offered them future 3rd Round Considerations!

"falls on the birthdate of any of Mr. Edens 4 lovely daughters."

Is completely irrelevant :(

I heard we also got G monroe. Is that true? Are we just gonna buy him out or will he play for us?

NOt sure the point of this post. Bledsoe clearly was the best player on this team for quite a while, but Booker has grown. The present situation does not change the past.

It sort of vindicates those of use who liked Dragic and agreed with him that he was being wasted by being told to stand in the corner and wait for spot-ups. At least in our mind, it does.
I very rarely saw the fight and fire in Bled that I saw routinely in Dragic.

It does not change the events of the past. But it might change our perspective of past events.
Every PG has sucked here and hated it here since right about the same time we got Bledsoe, who was supposed to be this great PG but who has basically been a black hole.

Phoenix fans know what PGs are supposed to look like. I tried and tried to like Bled. But the truth is, I cannot think of a single time where he impressed me. I can think of countless KJ, Nash, and even MARBURY moments that were just amazing. I cannot think of any with Bled. I admit I watch them a lot less since they started to suck. But we were pretty bad for a couple of those years with Steph too.

EDIT: To stay on topic of this post, I can also think of a time where Dragic just absolutely amazed me. That playoff game against SA where he had like 80 points in the final couple of minutes. I'll never forget that. So that KJ, Nash, Marbury, and even Dragic who I can think of great suns moments. None for Bled.

And if we just talk overall suns players, not taking into account their position, where does Bled rank? No where. He was a blip in Suns history afaic.
Even sidekicks like Majerle, Ainge, Joe Johnson, Marion, Barbosa, Q Rich, Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, and dare I say even JARED FREAKIN DUDLEY conjures up many many great memories of amazing Suns basketball.
No need to even get started on regular all stars like Barkley, KJ, Nash, Amare, etc...

Eric Bledsoe? I just cannot think of a single one. Feel free to post a video showing him doing something great.

Bledsoe, for me, is like Rasing Canes chicken.

I believed he was great because everyone told me how great he was.
And for some reason, I ignored the evidence that was right in front of me, which is that it was mediocre at best. I trusted other people's analysis over my own. Lesson learned. Let's be honest. Bledsoe sucked here.

My friend told me Cane's had the best chicken fingers in the world. I've gone four times, thinking, "well, its supposed the be the best in the world. So it must have just been a fluke that it wasnt good last time". Why do I keep going?

EDIT: Just looked at his numbers. They are pretty good, actually. Basically 18/5/5 and a 45% shooter. He doesn't shoot very good from 3 but otherwise he has very solid numbers.

At the end of the day though, 5 assists just doesn't cut it as a starting PG, regardless of your scoring. And 18 pts is nice, but not really all-star level. 18 pts and 10 assists would be good. 25 points and 5 assist might be ok. Look at AI's stats for perspective on Bledsoe's game. AI is considered by many to be a ball-hog shoot-first PG. But he had about 7 assists per game vs. Beldsoe's 5. And AI scored closer to 25 pts per game (same percentage). So if AI was a chucking ball-hog, then these numbers don't look so good afterall.

Question from a Bucks fan - his knees. Has he lost a step/explosion/acceloration from the knee injuries?

I hope you are ready for his bi-annual injury. Although his knees were fine last season, and got that extra rest when we were tanking -I'm just not sure about your medical team / training staff, they seem to have trouble with Jabaris knees as well.

That's news to me about the Bucks medical team. Last I heard was the typical optimistic stuff on Parker. http://rotoworld.com/player/nba/2285/jabari-parker

Unfortunately every other year bledsoe misses significant time due to injury. We'll see if his break last year and early this year have a positive impact on this trend.

He has lost a step defensively, but it could just be Phoenix. Good defenders become bad when they're here.

Glad it is over, should have done this this off-season. Did not get as much as thought but good to be rid of another Clutch guy and not have to negotiate his contract. Would not be shocked if the front office thinks Knight will be a good playing option under new coaching next year.

I wasn't dissing them, as I haven't really followed all that closely. I only know that Jabari has had 2 knee injuries while playing for you. Now that might be just bad luck, and his recovery is on track (wish him the best, as I like him), but I wouldn't be overconfident with Bledsoes knees after this. As for his athletic abilities - he might have lost a tiny bounce and quickness, but he is still up there, no problems with that, if healthy and gives a phuck.
