I'm glad you mentioned that because that is the one thing working in Gordon's favor: size.

And when I mentioned scoring, when comparing Smith and Gordon, it wasn't a reference to scoring averages, but rather how they played. I'm sure just about every guy in the NBA scored 20 ppg in HS, or close to it. I would bet DeAndre Jordan scored 20 ppg.

EDIT: Just looked it it up: DeAndre Jordan averaged 26 ppg as a senior in HS.

I would love to see the Suns draft Chris Walker from Florida and PJ Harrison from the dleague with 2 of their 3 picks. I also like Adrien Payne as well.

What are Walkers issues aside from academics? I only follow the on court stuff, cant be bothered to care if they are knuckleheads.

Academics is an issue. I know academics and intelligence don't strictly align, but they correlate. Intelligence is too often neglected in analyzing selections... I'm guilty of it too.

As an aside, you know what else is overrated as predictors of NBA performance? Summer league stats. Those things are downright prejudicial. I used to think otherwise, but I performed an experiment this summer, and the outcome was pretty obvious. If .net still existed I would have taken my dose of crow long before now...

The wonderful world of Reddit and Twitter have discovered some interesting videos on that fan that date back to 3 years ago. Marcus Smart was the only player to put him in his place. I'm not mad at him.

Supposedly the fan called him the N word. Or so said the post game radio show for OSU. Still, you can NOT touch a fan. Under any circumstances. It's a hard line that can not be crossed.

They're college students not pros. The fan should have been tossed. I have no particular affinity for Marcus Smart but fans go beyond the limit. He got at T that should be it.

I'm glad he did. People who still use that word and have that mentality need to learn a lesson.

What? A lot of these college players are only a year or two younger than most pros. You can not have players thinking they can go into the stands whenever some idiot fan is talking ****. If they think all they will get is a technical you will see this kind of thing happen all the time. Right or wrong it's going to be a bad suspension. Maybe the rest of the year. He will be made an example of.

Gottlieb is saying the fan, Orr, is denying saying anything vulgar OR the N-word. Hopefully a number of people around them heard what was actually said and the truth will come out.

Pros are getting paid a lot of money to put up with this crap. I feel bad for Marcus. He got duped into giving up $4 million and a year of his life for this . I really don't care that much it's just how this situation hits me.

It doesn't matter what he said. He's a stupid fan.

I'm hoping that Smart pushing the fan hurts his stock so much he falls into our lap. Would absolutely love this guy on the suns. The dude could have been a top 3 pick in last years draft but decided to return because he felt like he let his teammates down in the tourney last year. Gotta love that. Could care less about the push to the fan, the old fat possibly racist guy probably deserved it. Smart gives a 100% every game and would be an absolute beast coming off our bench. A backcourt of dragic/bledsoe followed up by a bench backcourt of smart/goodwin would be insane.

Smart's character isn't even a concern in my opinion but his 3pt % and his lebron like flops kinda are.
I like Draft Picks/Cap Space, long walks on the beach, and short youtube clips.

I don't think this will hurt his draft stock much, if at all. He shouldn't have pushed the fan regardless of what was said to him. But I'm not going to chastise him for doing it either.

How did he get duped?! He likes college and wanted to work on his game. Plus his lifelong fried Forte is there. Smart is still going to be rich.

I'll never get the belly-aching that's over guys having to go to school or stay in school and put off being millionaires for a year or two.
