Maybe. There have been much discussion and many articles written on him playing "point forward." Just not sure we could play Chriss and Bender at the same time along Blake.
But seriously he's out until December. I dunno. I think the fact that I don't like him as a player makes me like this possible deal even less.

Blake is a great passer, I could seem him playing well next to Chriss, but I want Bender to get plenty of minutes.

Maybe if we let Len walk, trade Chandler, and have Bender play multiple positions off the bench...I dunno, hard to see this happening without taking a lot of minutes away from someone who needs them.

I wouldnt be surprised if we signed Blake. He listed Phoenix as one of his favorite cities In a recent radio interview. He likes money, medical staff, Scottsdale bars/women, and the youth.

Millsap was a smokescreen.

Yeah I can see why he would want the Suns but why do the Suns want him?

He's an incredibly overrated player who is on a decline and has serious medical issues.

The Suns signing someone like Blake would signal that McDonough doesn't have the patience to wait and finish out a true rebuild.

I would take Blake maybe if he was willing to play for like $15M/yr, that's it. And there's no way he would do that.

Unless the Suns don't have any confidence in Bender or Chriss.

Especially since he's already missed 68 games in the past two years and 83 in the past 3. But we can go through this rinse and repeat cycle once again as we continue to bring in vets to play in front of our young guys and then wonder why they don't progress faster.

If Bledsoe and Knight didn't get injured last year, Booker probably would have been on the bench and Knight would have started this year. Maybe Blake being injured half the time would be a good thing if we signed him.

Now I'm cool signing Blake. He's 28 so fits the timeline for the Suns much better than Milsap. To me he's the type that's on another level than guys like Milsap and Chandler (and I should note if they were 28 and not 32 when we chased them I would be cool with it).

He's a legit star so if they can land him for free you do it and figure out the log jam at PF after that.

If we land Blake, I think we're letting Len walk and will trade Chandler.
Williams and Chriss will be our centers while Griffin and Bender will be our PF's.
This will also probably be enough to land McD his extension

Definitely see Blake as being better (in terms of talent and fit) than either Millsap or Chandler. Just not sure it makes more sense to sign him instead of just standing pat.

I do think that it's important to build through free agency since you don't have to give up picks/assets (at least directly). Ultimately it'll come down to his medicals (and whether he actually wants to be here).

I'd add Griffin or Milsap in a heart beat. Its called premium talent. I doubt Bender is ready for big time minutes on a team trying to make the playoffs. Chriss is barely ready. You 'youthers' need to exercise as patience with these 20 year olds as you have already projected them into stardom. Another year of good solid practice and reasonable valid playing time when it means something will aid in their development. Winning goes along ways too. This squad needs to feel like they are playing for something, other than to not get blown out. If we sacrifice some Bender or Chris playing time to get the rest some playoff experience then Id say thats a fair trade off in 'development'. And like it or not, All these kids save a few, are also assets that can be used in trades. You can't predict what McDo is up to, but you can recall his strategy of adding solid draft picks, collecting assets, then trading or signing an available star(s) He said himself

Sign Griffin/Milsap then trade for Boogie ???? oh brother.

I don't like either one but I'll take Millsap over Blake if it came to it.

Millsap may be older but he's more durable. And more importantly, Blake is still an immature punk while Millsap has always been a classy player.

But my goodness, can't figure out why the Suns want to abandon the rebuild...

I'm surprised there are people who are against signing Blake Griffin, but in favor of lesser players like Taj Gibson. That line of thinking doesn't make sense to me. If anyone is going to be taking time from our developing players it better be an all-star.

I see Blake as a good fit and think that our training staff can fix him. The Clippers are known to have one of the worst medical staffs in the league after all.
