I do not think he can play at a high level anymore...but who knows.

Can't be worse then 2016-2017 Brandon Knight.

Yeah, once i saw that Marbury was talking about coming back and playing a season or two, i figured that we would end up being his best option. I mean who else would really want him? We are going to be a losing team, who could use another guard for the season, and im sure that Sarver could make a quick buck or two off him as well.

Add in his quote that sounds like he is directing straight towards our FO too.

“My goal is to finish strong with a team that can use some veteran leadership,” Marbury wrote. “I’ve been through a lot of situations in the game of basketball. I know I can help the younger generation like my vets (Terry Porter, Mike Williams, Doug West, Stanley Roberts and Googs) helped me.”

That is directed at us, and you know it.

Could be entertaining.

We do need another G, but not a PG. Also, I do believe that Marbury in spite of some of the good things he has done, is a little bit crazy. I'm not sure I would want him near the kids.

Don't think he was NBA quality player 5 years ago, much less now adays. He's 40 years old and got cut by Beijing Ducks...

Anthony Randolph anyone?

I would remove Len's QO and I would sign Randolph before training camp. The guy is young yet and has matured enough to be a solid role player in the NBA. His versatility would help us a lot as a PF/C, he can play next to Chriss or Bender.
"Exactly what I told Anthony when we first started was that his versatility is what the NBA game is looking for," Kokoskov said. "His versatility makes him such a unique player in international basketball. He definitely belongs in the NBA. He's in a good place right now with Real Madrid. Great team, exposure and experience this summer. I really believe that he's going to get another shot."

He is not a starter in this league. But he has learned to play basketball a bit more for sure.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

That seems a little extreme. More like they were paying someone to do other things and told them to shill on here about Randolph too.

It's water under the bridge now at this point, but man the GSW guys back in the day were absolutely sold Randolph was THE next big thing. Some weren't willing to include him for Amare, and when several of us on here said no to making him the centerpiece of a deal, they flipped their lids...good times. How it's turned out should always be a reminder to everyone that proven players are worth far more than unproven ones.

I remember the argument, "Why would we trade the next Amare for an old broken down Amare? That makes no sense! AR in UNTOUCHABLE!!!".

Then 2 years later they screw us on Curry, so they got the last laugh. My my my, how things would have been so much different.....

And some on this board thought Archie Goodwin was the next big thing. Speaking of, what happened to Marswag Brooks?!?!

Archie kicked ass in summer league his rookie year and he can and still can get to the rim and explode.

But he still can't shoot and obviously he has some other issues (attitude) as the Pelicans, Hornets, and Nets have both given up on him. Hell, the Nets even gave him a multiyear contract and then waived him.
