This will likely generate a lot of hate, but would you guys consider signing IT to perhaps a 20mil a year type offer? I'm assuming the Cavs lose Lebron so they have no incentive to keep IT around. There is virtually no scenario where IT goes to a contender for the amount of money he wants, plus most contenders already have their PG position solidified. I'd expect us to go after a top tier free agent to use our cap space on, especially since the following year we likely won't have any money because Booker will get the max.
I'd go after IT under two conditions. First, we draft Ayton. This solidifies our frontcourt for the future. Second, IT plays back to form when he was with the Celtics.

Just a thought.

I am personally sick of scoring point guards no matter how good they are at scoring. So no i wouldnt bring IT back for 20 million or even 2 million simply because he isnt a point guard but a shooting guard who wont be happy backing up Booker.
Just say no to idiots!!

I am not good with trading Jackson in that deal. Have too see what he becomes. Look at Aaron Gordon. Two years ago he was just a "dunker" = now look at him.

Chriss and Bender - they didn't get coached last year. This is their rookie year. Lets see how they do with some real coaching. Triano admitted they are still in training camp. Damn, between Lance Blanks, Lindsey Hunter and Earl Watson - what the hell - just wasted year

Figure out Monroe - first and foremost. At this point, I am probably okay keeping Tyson - unless the right deal. And let the players get coached for the first time in their careers. Hell, even Booker. Triano is a better teacher of basketball than Hornacek too.

The team does need a PG - dammit - wish the Mavs wanted Bledsoe for that 9th pick

We are not trading Jackson. Move along now, everyone.

Funny you mention Ayton at the end because when I started reading my thought was the only way it could make sense is if the suns overacheived this year winning in the 30s and it looked like they were on the cusp then they got super lucky in the lotto and jumped up to the top 2 and Atyon looked like a sure thing then going win now with IT would make sense. Then I'd have to be 100% fine with his hip health and he would have to genuinely want to come here. Then and only then would it make sense. A **** ton of ifs in that scenario but not totally out of the question.

Yes getting Ayton would be the only scenario I'd go after IT. Because, again we won't have cap space the following the year and I'm not sure what the PG crop of 2019 draft will look like. I guess we could go after Schroder if he is available and he does fit our timeline propaganda.

Ok. No to IT. This is Booker’s team. The ball would not get to him enough.

I️ would consider Rubio. He can pass and defend. He can’t shoot so maybe he would be tempted not to do so.

At this point any PG would be an upgrade. I would absolutely love IT back on the suns. Nowadays you need more than one go to guy to win in this league. I love booker but lets be serious he isn't doing this by himself. IT would be a hell of an upgrade. Suns need all types of help in every position.

Any deal that has us giving up assets in any kind of salary dump just does not make sense. The Suns should be doing the opposite. They should be willing to take on salary to GET assets--as long as that salary does not extend beyond the summer of 2019. There is a plan in place. They need to stick with it.

Giving up Jackson is silly. He is a potential star player. Yes. He is. We are only a few weeks into his rookie year. HE is what rebuilding teams are trying to get. Now if we could package a couple of young players to get a better star player, maybe. But that would have to be a top player in this draft.

It just does not make sense.

Jackson absolutely has potential. BUT he needs to bulk up with out a doubt. I am tired of the rebuilding...We been rebuilding for how many years already lol..This season is a wash..We need a top three pick and some vet talent to start making a playoff push

I'm really surprised so many here think we wanna dump Chandler. I think it's quite the opposite, imo the FO has zero interest in doing so.
Triano loves him, FO seems to (but GM's comments are obviously to be seen with a grain of salt) and judging by Chandler's comments he really likes the young guys and his role. He said he wanted to stay when the FO asked him in the off-season if he wanted to get traded.

I personally think it is of extreme importance for this young squad to hold on to Dudley and Chandler.

I agree this needs to be Bookers team, with him running the James Harden role. Eventually I see a starting lineup of Booker, Jackson, Warren, Chriss, Bender. They need a little more time to get stronger but gives you size at every position shooting with Bender to help spread the floor, opens up for Chriss inside and Warren and Jackson to cut the lanes. Thats the dream scencario for the Suns assuming all those guys pan out and I think for us as fans.

I would take Rubio in a heartbeat. He would help out this team on defense and his passing ability would help the offense.

Monroe for Rubio?

I'd do that yesterday. And this is coming from someone that doesn't really love Rubio. But it would be so damn refreshing to have a pass-first PG.

the suns will be average at best even if chriss and bender play to there potential. The suns need another all star on this team. Its booker and that's it when it comes to all star talent

Booker is very mature. I like that. Definitely equipped to be the leader of the Suns for a long time.

We've had some problems with some functionality on the forums lately. Search is down and there were problems with PMs (personal messages) for a number of users. Some of you had mentioned this. I believe the PM issue has been resolved for those of you who have had accounts long enough to have access to PM. Please let me know if it's still an issue.

Want me to send you a pm quick to check or is it only certain users having issues?
