I talked to too many people at the Combine that are not as sold on Winslow as the fans and media are. Could be good.

Sheridan has Stanley Jhonson over Winslow in his latest mock draft too. Winslow probably will fall around #8 or #9, hopefully we can work a trade with Detroit and grab him.

13 pick and Tucker or Goodwin? That's not going to fly for them but I'd pull that trigger to grab Stanley Johnson.
Or wait Sign and Trade for KNIGHT!!

Detroit drafted Knight, and traded him for Jennings....

I was just joking. I know

I actually think you were on to something here. With a slight tweek:

Boston in: Brandon Knight
Boston out: #16 + Isaiah Thomas

Detroit out: #9 + Tolliver
Detroit in: #16 + Danny Granger + Miami’s unprotected 2021 first-round

Bucks out: M.Plumlee, T. Ennis
Bucks in: Cleveland's top 10 protected 2016 pick + Miami’s 2017 first-round pick (protected to seven)

76ers out: LA protected first rounder ( top 3 protected 2016/2017, unprotected 2018)
76ers in: #9

Phoenix out: Brandon Knight, Danny Granger, 2 Miami picks.
Phoenix in: Tolliver, Isaiah Thomas, M.Plumlee, T. Ennis, LA protected first rounder ( top 3 protected 2016/2017, unprotected 2018).

If Goran Dragic decided to opt out of the final year of his contract, I'd be curious to see what he'd look like in a Suns Uniform as well.

"Picking at 13, there are probably five or six guys in the top tier that we can cross of the board, that you say, 'There's no way that they'll be there,'" he said. "Assuming we stay at 13.

"The next group is pretty deep, I think, that next tier or two, probably about 10 or 12 guys in that tier so that covers 13 or more. So we're confident we'll get a good player."

With more than one month to prepare for the pick, McDonough said the team will not draft for need. He pointed out that the team could use more shooting and front-line depth, but after winning just 39 games last season, the team just has to add more talent.

So how much better is Portzingis than Kaminsky? Are we talking Dirk vs Ryan Anderson here?

Somebody will pick this guy and in a 4-5 years time will have one of the best players in the NBA. Think of a James Harden with a great defense.

2 years younger and playing very well in Spain and he is a better overall athlete. He is a better prospect than Kaminsky, but not by a mile.

Two league sources told CSNNE.com Friday that the Boston Celtics are “very open” to moving up in next month’s NBA draft.

And while the sources did not indicate which player Boston was targeting, there are growing signs that they have their sights set on trying to draft Kentucky big man Willie Cauley-Stein.

We have a serious adversary to move up in the draft.

Smart GM's tryin' to make Justice slip hahaha

He's probably my favorite player in this draft. I wanted him in Arizona BADLY.

They are some interesting mocks out there. SI has us getting WCS. :o

Also, looking at some of these guys stats, some are pretty crappy for bigs and rebounding. How the heck are some of those bigs going to rebound better on the next level?

I just don't know if we have the assets to move up in this draft, without giving up too much. I'm still a bit intrigued with Philly's 5 2nd round picks. Could we buy a few and stash a couple bigs overseas?

NBA mock draft - 2015: Paul Coro's first edition.
13. Phoenix Suns: Devin Booker, Kentucky, 6-6, 206, shooting guard, freshman
Booker is not skilled beyond his shot but his deep range has boosted his stock. He has good court acumen but lacks the athleticism of most NBA wing players.

This is a trade that I would actually expect to see as a serious proposal... Is that bad?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Based on the hype I think people expect much more upside. Kaminsky is tough to comp though. It's pretty rare a 7 footer improves so much in his last two years after being not on ANYONE'S radar that he is pretty much the best college player in the country.

I remember seeing his stat line early in his junior year and he had like 45 points and a bunch of 3s and some blocks and I thought "who is this guy and where he is projected in mocks?" He wasn't anywhere on mocks...not in the top two rounds of the next two years at that time. I was kind of shocked.

I think I asked about him on the draft forum and people said he wasn't nba caliber, but by the end of the year he started creeping into mocks and now is all the way up as a likely lottery pick.

I mean, I remember after the AZ tourney game last year I kept thinking "this guy really looks like Dirk when he's on". I mean, were people expecting Dirk to be that good? So I don't necessarily want to just assume Kaminsky doesn't have upside because he sure as hell as improved the last two years. It's not like Harrell or someone who's been pretty much the same.

As far a Porzingis, people seem to be projecting him REALLY high, so there is more hype.'

Since we need outside shooting and depth at the bigs, I'd be happy to get either. Of course it would take some serious trading up to get Porzingis.

If we were able to trade up to 4 though, I think, especially if the two bigs and Russell is gone, we would take Porzingis. He helps both of the areas McD wants to address. At 13, we can maybe get Kaminsky who is more polished and can likely contribute more quickly.

Have to try to get pick 4.
It's almost certain Mudiay will be there.

Are the Knicks interested on Bledsoe?

Then... try to get Pistons pick 8.
Morris twins and Tucker as baits.
Winslow or Turner.

I'd be surprised if we took Mudiay over Porzingis if we got 4. McD has said we need shooters and depth at the bigs, and Mudiay's weakness is that he's not a great shooter. Of course McD also said he would take BPA, and he loves point guards.

Mudiay's athleticism and aggressiveness to the basket is elite.

I'm sure Hornacek would love to add a shooter. As he would simply try to inprove the team incrementally. But McD is still in star-search mode.

The question is... Does Knicks need a player like Bledsoe. Can he play in the triangle.

Ugh. I`d try to avoid one-dimensional future role players in the lottery range.

I gotta say that would be beyond awesome. I think definitely that bledsoe and perhaps green or markieff as a filler could definitely secure us the #4 from new york.

But what exactly do the pistons covet most, that could help us snag the #8 ? Perhaps marcus morris, granger, and a future conditional first? Would that be enough, or how should we tweak it? :-?
