Those right there were the basis of the trade to begin with, and all the Kings will end up with after all is said and done, and we had the better offer on both those fronts.
As for the rest of the deal, its hard to say, as they could have really used Knight, and even if they didnt really want to, they could have had him ride the bench and used him as a back-up (as they are still far away from the cap), or look for trades for him as well (Maybe accepting less than what we are currently looking for). On top of that Len. Sure they dont really NEED him, but he is still a young (somewhat talented) 7 footer, and im sure they really wouldnt have had a problem flipping him to another team if they wanted to, or even just buy him out (like they are doing with Galloway and Evans).
I just dont see any way possible that our offer wasnt better than the Pelicans.
