No, he's not as good as Craig right now but has far more upside. He was behing Poku in OKC's lineup. I had him in fantasy for a bit. Didn't do much.

Lakers got much, much better. Clippers got...different.

If we can pick up Reggie and Holiday (if they are even bought out), i'd say we will have had the best deadline. However, if we don't pick up anyone else, I think we are a bit shallow.

Also, we only have 9 active guys tonight haha

Even if fully healthy, the Hawks seem to have our number the past 2-3 seasons.

I've been pimping Bazley for months. I'm owed some and-1s.

He'll definitely play - goes ahead of Ish in the rotation for sure. He'll be challenging Craig (and TJ) for that starting role.

Whoever starts can expect a lot of wide open catch-and-shoot 3's. If he plays well, I bet we'd extend that $6.2 QO (much more affordable than that bum Coby White's). Spotlight's on us, so this is a big opportunity for him to make or break. He doesn't have to be amazing to be our PF of the future.

So basically Darius Bazley is Boris Diaw without the offense. I’ll take that any day of the week. Can’t wait to watch him, Craig, Okogie come off the bench and play suffocating defense.

and shoot 20% from 3...

The other two off the bench would be Payne and Landale raising the 3 point % to 23%. good thing is they won’t play heavily minutes in the playoff.

Yeah it might be the case we're going into the playoffs and our 5-8th guys are just dependent on the matchup i.e. one series its Okogie getting ~30 minutes for defense and the next its like Payne or whoever. Nothing wrong with that as a last resort. It's not ideal but again Paynes had some big playoffs games where he's necessary to play over the tired Paul and Okogie's length and athleticism should be able to find a niche in certain series.

yeah whew. Thybille to Portland won't make a difference deep in the playoffs, and Pelicans had to lose Graham to get Richardson.

Concerned about Warriors getting GP2 back tho.

Bucks added Crowder they sure have a million of vets on their team. I mean who will be able to take them down besides Suns or Celtics? Their team is loaded with superstars, all stars and vets with insane playoff experience.

this would put us as heavy favorites for the title. Solves basically everything. Then just add some more buyout depth. He's already played with KD too so maybe they have a good rapport. I will get on my knees with you and beg.

They are deep AF with nice wings in Connaughton and Crowder now. And we meme on Grayson Allen but he's had a good season too. That's a lot of shooters and hustle defenders. Would love to pull Justin Holiday to try and recover his form from 2-3 years ago for this exact reason.

I think more like PF. He is 6'8" but with a 7" wingspan, good rebounder, athletic which we really need along with his defense and weak side rim protection. He could even start maybe, if we decide that his D is more needed in the starting lineup, which does not need offense at all. Craig can be a better offensive (and weaker defensive) player from the bench.
Bazley will just have to stand in the corners and shoot open 3s on offense. I just checked his BBallRef page, he is just shooting corner 3s more this year, and making more of them, so it seems like his shot selection is getting a bit better - and he's been practicing them.
I actually quite like this pickup.

This has been a fun and busy deadline... glad is over because I was getting crazy.

I love the current roster.

We just need one more solid player and Ish Wainright filling the last roster spot and we are ready to go.
