Dang. But is he really enough to make the Heat more attractive?

Re-read that brother. It says he will NOT take significantly less to join the Heat.

So what happens if Riley doesn't sign them?

Either we get LeBron or the Heat suck. It's a win win!

The real question is, what becomes of Wade and Bosh if LeBron bolts? Bosh will have his choice of suitors, but Wade? The Hawks need a SG!

The more we move into FA the less likely James staying in Miami seems. I saw on ESPN this morning talking about how Miami should sign Jameer Nelson. Really? Jameer Nelson is what's attainable for Miami, and that's supposed to keep the big 3 together?

I think Riley is throwing really low numbers out to those guys. They may want to win a championship but money speaks volumes. Especially for Lowry. He definitely wants near max. Deng will want 10+ million a year. Thats not feasible for Riley.

The Heat are scrambling. Nobody wants to make the first move. They don't have anything going for them but location. The only thing Pat Riley can do is put more role players around the big three if they decide to stay, but I think Lebron wants more. Bledsoe isn't going anywhere, Lowry is staying in Toronto. This is looking better and better for us.

On another note, anyone contact Bledsoe yet? Or does everyone pretty much know we are gonna match any offer?

Just before Hoopshype's twitter feed shut down a few minutes ago, reports came out that Bosh would get a 5 year deal in MIA, and Wade a 4 year deal. LBJ was said to be seeking a 1-2 year max deal (but no word, really, on whether that was contingent on other progress being made.

Adding nothing, Miami's still top 3 in the east. If Melo goes to Chicago, I think the Bulls are the best in the conference.

Unreal. Bosh and Wade taking 50% paycut to stay with Miami. This is ridiculous. They can sign Lebron to max and still have around 20 million to sign new free agents.

Ultimately, they are going to end up with the same basic team as last year if the "big 3" stay together. No marquee players are going to give up millions just to play with them. I see a free agent taking a small cut, say 1-2 million to play with them but not much more. They are going to be forced to feed from the bottom of the free agent pile. Example: Jameer Nelson.

Someone will, at the very least to make sure we have to spend more money to get him. It's just good business sense on their part.

Not quite 20 million, but you're right, this is insane. Why don't they all agree to play for "free", when collusion is this obvious they may as well not even try to hide it. And I'm sure the Heat organization would see their selfless big three "taken care of" on the side.

There seems to be a lot of unknown people tweeting things and getting attention for their tweets, yet we have no clue who these people are.

I just looked on the miami board and no one is talking abou this.

Don't forget Mavs and Dirk already have good idea of ballpark on deal given fact sides discussed extension last month before June 30 buzzer

uh oh! Dirk Nowitzki is pitching to Melo?

Dirk is just abut done. I am so tired of hearing this Dallas garbage. Dirk,Chandler and Fat Felton

I just don't understand why all these big name free agents are opting out or wanting trades because they hate their current situation, but seem so intent on considering teams that would put them in the exact same situation. Dallas may be attractive to some degree because of Cuban, but they aren't winning anytime soon.

Why would a writer from Oregon be the first to break this info? It's not real

Well, if they'll do that, the dream is dead. Pretty surprising, actually. Wonder who they'll add with that kind of scratch. They need bigs, but there aren't many available.

Oh well. Orlando summer league starts July 5!!

One lesson I learned last year was how little summer league matters. It's a crap shoot whether success or failure translates. Performance between SL and regular season can be shockingly unrelated. Still fun!!

if this did actually happen, this would have spread like wildfire by now. It would have been everywhere on twitter.
