The Serbian combo guard has a 2+1+1 contract with NBA out in 2016.

He isn't leaving 30 million on the table and he is all about being in the big city. He isn't buying into the athlete giving up money to build a contender crap. Let the rich owner pay the luxury tax, why should the athlete give up the cash?

I think the "you have to win a title to have a successful career" mantra is garbage. The NBA is a business. You make business decisions with your brain.

I feel this way. I "lurked" for about two years before I joined; hell, I didn't know this forum existed until 2007. After we went bad, I continued to post because I liked the discussion; when posters began disappearing (maryvale )I began posting more to keep the board alive. Our games threads went from the forties/fifties to the low teens.......and sometime less. That sucked!

Man, whatever happened to that guy? I remember one of maryvale's real life friends came on the board and talked some sh*t or something but idk if that was the reason why he left. Back in 2009 I only created this account for the sole purpose of replying to one of his posts.

DaDragicShow was another one we lost. Good poster he was. Got banned for being too much of a fan iirc

I started reading this board around 2006, when I moved to California, I used to post on ESPN when it was good.

When I started here I was GoDogGo(3/30/2007), but when they changed things up I couldn't get into my account. So I changed my name. There have been some good posters over the years.

This may be Ryan Mcd first taste of disappointment. Can't fault him for trying.

Side note: I think teams are weary of negotiating with Ryan Mcd. They may think that they are getting outsmarted.

I say, well how do you expect the management to act? What's the point in preparing for the Big 3 not returning? There's nothing to prepare for.

Front offices too often get more credit than they deserve - especially the old, accomplished ones. Legends they are not. If LeBron returns to Miami, he'll regret it within months of starting the regular season, because that team is on its way downhill.
