Steve Kerr will not return

Steve Kerr will not return as president of basketball operations and general manager of the Phoenix Suns.

Kerr's contract expires June 30 but he had been expecting and hoping to return until negotiations for his contract and an opportunity to return to TNT as a NBA commentator prompted him to leave the organization after three years as its GM. Kerr could not be reached for comment.

Wow, this is pretty shocking. I had thought he'd be a sure thing to return. Only to see his vision further. Things didn't start off too well but as we've seen lately he turned it around.

No to Barkley.

Sarver said the differences in financial negotiations played a "small part," if any at all.

Yes to Barkley. He's a smart talent evaluator. He just says things on TV for sensationalism purposes which is what makes him entertaining.

If KJ's mayor term is soon over... otherwise Pritchard wouldn't be bad. I loved Chuck as a player but wouldn't trust him as a GM.

Guess Kerr decided to bolt while his rep is finally not in the trash anymore. 2 years of crap management and then one solid year, gotta go now before things get bad again.
