So the Phoenix Suns Called Me Today...

Sales rep wanted to sell me season tickets and said he saw how I went to a game last season and blah blah blah...

I had a great time with him by stating that I have been a Suns fan for 27 years and have seen every game over the 15 years and I don't trust our owner. He countered stating Sarver has made the Suns a top 5 team over the last several years and has paid over the tax.

I then laid out the million boneheaded financial moves he has made over the last few seasons and said I refuse to give the organization a dime with the future unknown. I said that if Kerr and Griffith walk away then there is something seriously wrong in the front office. I told him that Amare has left and Frye could be gone so why pay anything? He said we all knew Amare would opt out and the young talent we have is exciting and just look at our bench.

I then countered again saying the bench will be minus Lou and Frye and thus, not very exciting. I said Earl Clark as our starting PF is not doing it for me. We went back and forth for at least 15 minutes and then I finally said, if you can bring in Dirk and resign Frye, call me back and I'll buy season tickets. No Dirk and Frye, no pennies from me at all until the owner sells the team. He laughed and said you got a deal.

I can't even believe our direction we've taken after making the WCF and being 2 wins away from the Finals... sickening.

What are you so sick about? The fact that we lost Kerr (who everyone hated at this time last year)? We haven't lost a single player up to this point. I was a Kerr supporter the whole way through, but he wasn't considered an elite GM by anyone in the league (nor should he have been). So remind me why exactly this is all sickening?

Actually not. Our young talents are exciting to watch. Are you on drugs?

If Lou is gone, the second unit won't provide as much energy and intensity. That's a fact though.

Agreed. With the exception of OKC, and maybe Memphis, our young talent is on e the the most exciting in the league. IMO. Dragic, Lopez, Lou, Clark, Lawal and Collins, and..........

I agree. I don't see a problem with a our young talents, whenever they're all on the court I get kinda excited cause I know they will all give it their best.
