OT: The "Official" Hip-Hop Thread

Post#1 » by Kerrsed » Thu Jul 1, 2010 10:05 pm

Just figured i would make a Music thread (all the good boards have them) to kind of share any good music and what you have been recently listening to.

I mostly listen to Hip-Hop (but there are some exceptions). Lately I have been listening to Die Antwoord (The Answer). They are a Hip-Hop group from South Africa that was just signed to Interscope Records last month.

So, what have you guys been listening to? What groups/bands do you recommend?

Surprisingly I'm probably the only person from the Vale who doesn't like rap and/or hip hop. Ska punk and screamo are the way to go

Tech N9ne is alright, saw him live once. By far not the best underground rapper though.

Underground-ish hip-hop, I have to add

Jedi Mind Tricks
Alchemist
Atmosphere
Fort Minor
Linkin Park

I also listen to just about every other genre, WAY too many to name!

EDIT: I know Linkin Park isn't underground anymore
