Trade Nash

If Amare goes to the Knicks, we should ship Nash as well. We owe it to him to give him a shot to do well throughout his last years in the league.

Is this a real possibility?

It could be, but I think we'd only trade him if he wanted it.

What? Who wouldn't want to play with Warrick, Frye and Lopez?

I agree. I would say trade Hill but he seems like he is at peace and just wants to end his career healthy and happy in the Phoenix area.

We can't wear a season where no-one turns up therefore I don't see us trading Nash and tanking. We gave Nash a 2 yr contract because he is going to be the face of the franchise.

Barbosa's is the only contract I can see us now wanting to offload ... as unlikely as that may be, unless we start dishing out draft picks again.

----- Didn't need that part. Thanks ;) -Miklo

The Suns will be fine without Amare, better or as good, no, but just fine. The East is loading up not the West. Call me when one Western Conf team gets better.

I can't wait to see Nash and Robin on the PnR's next year with Frye spacing the floor. I guess you forgot Lopez put up 20 and 14 pts against Gasol and Bynum in the WCF's, coming off of an injury. Lopez is a second year player for Christ's sake. What did Bynum or any other Center of recent time do in the second year playing against the likes of theses guys, along with the magnitude of the game.

BTW, Warrick is a back-up to help Gani fill Lous shoes. Frye will be a lot better on def covering 4 instead of 5's.

Last two games vs Lakers 14 and 11 Rebs........

Here we go again...

Will see what Rober Sarver does during free agency (it hasn't end yet) before start trolling with similar ideas.

Even with Amare, we should be better than the Knicks. Steve is closer to a championship with us.

No we won't he is Sarvers cash cow.

Sarver does not want to miss the playoffs at any cost because making the playoffs means $$$$$ for him.

If the plan was to trade Nash there was no need to overpay below average bigs.

Steve Nash doesn't want to leave, so why should he? It's his decision.

I do not believe Nash number 1 priority is winning a title, he loves the fans and the Phoenix area and seems happy. I think many "experts" believe it's every athletes primary goal and obsession to win and championship, when that is not reality for some players. Does it make Nash a fool for staying on a team that is not title bound at his age? Some would say yes while others would say no. If Nash is happy with his current situation then let him be.

If Warrick or Frye are starting next year we aren't a playoff team. If we can get a TPE and grab David West or someone who's an actual starting PF in this league we could prob sneak in the playoffs. I think Nash will request a trade pretty soon.

I wouldn't be shocked if this team somehow gets the #7 or #8 spot but than again I wouldn't be surprised if they draft in the top 10
