with amare gone the points are most likely gonna drop unless someone can step up big time, so who is gonna be "the man"

Time for Jason Richardson to put his golden state costume on.
And I think Barbosa will be big for us next season. If we're going to replace 20 ppg by committee, LB's the guy who can help us do that seeing as how he can drop 20 any night he gets good minutes.

We rebounded by committee last year so it looks like scoring by committee this year.

Problem is those minutes will likely come from Dragic unless we plan to play
really small during some stretches.

The points will drop, yes. Hopefully the Suns defense will pick up
some of the slack, and when the Suns need a big bucket it will be Nash/Hill/Jrich to take it. If the Suns can get a catch-and-shoot in a critical moment it goes to Jrich/Frye/Dudley, and if it's needed off the dribble, I don't see how you give the ball to anyone other than Nash or Hill.
Other than that, we're going to be scoring by committee and our bench will be vital. Hopefully Leandro can return to 2007 form...

We don't have one. None of our bigs are legit post-scorers and J-Rich cannot create his own shot. Nash will have to become a scorer if no other roster moves are made.

so if nash becomes the main scorer is this a good thing or not to good thing because there were times in the season when phoenix played their best when hes getting a lot of assists and less points but you never know..

Bad, very bad. It's never a good thing when your PG is your main scorer, and best player (unless you're the 2001 edition of A.I) So....it's J rich or die tryin'

its gotta be J-Rich. I see him attacking the basket more this season than just knocking down threes. Without Amare, the paint will be less clogged. Its time for J-Rich to become Dwayne Wade and do a few posters on Anderson Varejao.

23 pts to make up ...
Warrick 13 (+13)
JRich 15.7 -> 17.5 (+1.8)
Lopez 8.4 -> 11.5 (+3.1)
Clark 2.8 -> 6.5 (+3.7)
LB 9.5 -> 11 (+1.5)
Total +23.1
So we're really looking for Lopez and Clark to step up but it's not exactly ridiculously un-attainable levels (remember Lopez sucked until he started). JRich's number will get called more often while LB just has to restore his efficiency back to pre-injury which he should do next season.

things should be good if he continues to play like he did in the playoffs
