one thing i dont understand

i was looking at the game logs for the playoffs and channing frye had more rebounds off the bench then amare did 90-87. its only 3 more but still

Frye played like sh*t offensively but i give him props for picking up the boards that series. I think he had 10+ in 2 of the games.

and thats just in the series,amare had like 3 of those the whole playoffs

A lot of it had to do with Frye playing C in our defensive zone. It's a lot harder for forwards to rebound in a zone cos they have to guard all the way out to the pockets so they're not around the basket as often.

Exactly. While Amare isn't a great rebounder he is average, and average is much better than Frye.

The one thing I can't understand is how a guy that shoots 30% in the biggest series of his life when shooting is all he can do gets 6mil per.
