So if the Knicks don't sign Lebron does this make Amare screwed? I mean, i'm pretty sure when he signed he thought some other star would sign, and everyone is saying lebron is now signing with miami, so i dont know.

Ohhhh welllll he still has 100 million reasons to love New York i suppose.

he will probably average like 32 PPG next year though.

Last time I checked, Amare hasn't signed anything.

I bet it's the Knicks, Jared Dudley along with Jude Lacava (Phoenix sportscaster) also tweeted all signs point to LBJ joining the Knicks.

Amare agreed to sign with NY because they offered the most money, not because he thought they would win a championship or something

Newsday/ESPN reporting Lebron to Miami.

We seen what happened with Hedo and the Blazers... Amare has the character to do the same to the Knicks.

Just like Nash's signing 6 years ago with Suns. In heart, Nash wanted to stay with Mavs and Dirk back then.

For that to be the same Amare would have to, at least, contend for MVP next season.

N.Y. has been destroying thier roster for the last couple of years to attempt to build thier team this year, to only get Possibly Damaged Goods Amare!!!! is a FAIL!!!! They had better have a contingency plan to fill out the roster cause if they dont they are going to really suck. Good Luck Dantoni!!! i hope you guys suck for years to come.... like 5 to be exact!!!

Well I think everyone can forget the Lebron to NY plan. His agent booked every availiable cabana at the W Hotel on Southbeach for the entire weekend along with Lebron themed ice sculptures, etc.

Hopefully they realize that if he signs with Mia he will no longer be King James, but rather be Prince James because that is Wade County, it's Wades team and he is just another addition to the heat and wade not the main attraction.........if he thinks he is going to take over Mia from Wade......sounds like a lot of tension coming in Miami.........

Unfortunately no. Knicks had their eyes on Ridnour, Miller, Randolph/ or keeping Lee as a backup plan to this conclusion. They still have a hell of a coach, along with up and comer Gallinari on top of that. They can still come out ahead if they play their cards right.
