He's going to be good in the Suns system, expecting 15-6-6 from him. Rebounding, assists and scoring should all go up. If he's made the primary option on offense I could see him averaging around 20.

I love this guy, he´s a real basquetball player.
He' s not Amare, but is a great asset to play many different styles.
And is a smart defender, and that's very important when you play zone defense.

As I've said elsewhere, it isn't unreasonable to expect 15/5/5 out of him, and maybe even 15/7/5 or so if he's playing a lot of PF (which wouldn't be ideal, though). I think 15/5/5 is likely, though, given pace, the role he's apt to have and the nature of his teammates in Phoenix.

Couldn't you see more than 15 points? This is one aspect of Hedo's game that I would look to for a big boost from the Nash effect. I wouldn't be surprised to have a fair amount of nights where JRich + Hedo > 40 points...

Raptor fans not liking Hedo is not an excuse for poor play. If you want them to root for you start playing better.

Last season he looked old and slow, i'll take 15/5/5 all day. Hopefully he becomes ''Tim Thomas-like'' inspired.

It's really hard to predict numbers purely because the most important number with be MPG. Hedo's is def the most unpredictable because we don't even know how he'll be used for sure. It could be anywhere between 28-35mpg which makes a pretty big difference to his numbers.

I'll still take a stab and say that he'll do around 17 ppg - 6.5 rpg - 4apg. I think the load will be shared in regards to the scoring but he'll still have some days where he punks a team. I think between him and JRich we should avg 35 ppg so there should be a quite a few 40ppg games between them.

Unless there's a dramatic change in style of play, Nash isn't going to have much of an effect on Hedo because he'll be mostly playing with the ball in his hand. You can't well be helped by a PG when you mostly do things on your own.

Minutes will be something to watch, and it's possible that he might score more... he's done it twice, so it's not entirely beyond the realm of possibility, and the Suns do have to replace like 23 ppg. I'm betting they do it by balancing things out, though, and Richardson is a better finisher than Hedo, so I expect him to score more. Hedo isn't usually a super-assertive player on offense, which is one of the reasons he hasn't scored in higher volume more frequently in his career.

Again, is it possible? Yes. Would it be cool and do I hope it happens? Absolutely, Phoenix deserves miracles because they're awesome. Do I expect it to happen? Not really. Hedo in Orlando built his game off of the development of Dwight Howard; it's no coincidence that his two best scoring seasons were matched alongside Dwight's best scoring seasons and that his three best passing seasons were matched alongside playing with Howard and then with Bosh, high efficiency finishers who end a PnR very, very well.

We'll get a better idea of how this is going to work in the first 20 games of the season or so, but I'd be more inclined to believe that Hedo will score about 15 (+/- some small variance, of course) and that the PF slot will account for some of the rest of the difference (some 8-10 ppg starter, maybe Warrick or Lawal or something).

Remember, if Hedo scores 15, then the PF starter only NEEDS to score 8 points or so to make up the difference between that and Amare's scoring average from last year. Efficiency will differ some, surely, but that's still a big chunk of the missing points, so Hedo isn't really required to score a lot of points.

Who is the best PG Hedu has played with ?

Never under estimate the Nash effect. He's like a wind chill factor.

Am I wrong to think hedu has always been asked to create, to be a point forward because of his ball skills ? I think it will be interesting to see how other PFs match up on him... if he can catch and shoot, Nash will find him.

I think we are going to run an offense that looks like a slow blender, many screens and P+Rs with everyone. Its mismatch city, that is what Gentry likes.

It's not about Nash; Steve is incredible, but he can't do huge things unless he's passing TO you. He will create space by virtue of the deadliness of his shot, but again, unless Hedo's being put into a finisher's role (which seems foolish given that he's been largely ineffective everywhere he's been except as a ball-handler and doesn't have the athleticism or playing style to be a PF in that role), it doesn't figure to impact Turk much. It'll depend on how Gentry uses him, I suppose.

Yeah, Hedo is generally used as a point forward because he's cranky when he isn't touching the ball. Has been since Sacramento and San Antonio, remained so in Orlando and again in Toronto. He's pretty good at using screens.

For my money, I'd say that Frye and Lawal/Warrick, etc will be of more importance to Turk than Nash because they're the ones he'll be working with for the most part.
