andray blatche??

Post#1 » by rordog » Fri Jul 23, 2010 2:45 pm

I think Blatche would fit well in here and really complete the team.. Along with that his contract really isn't that expensive, I would think of trading Earl Clark + Grant Hill/Dudley?? or someone like that, I just want to know you guys thoughts.

Nash
Richardson
Turkoglu
Blatche
Lopez

NEVER INCLUDE DUDLEY IN A TRADE> NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAPZ RULEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No seriously, no Jared Dudley inclusion. OK? I have a huge problem with that.

Anyways, I think Blatche might fit in our system well. But it seems unlikely that they're gonna take the offer.

Hedo's contract is like $9M?
Blatche's is like 2.5 or something.. but I would definitely trade Hedo over Dudley

I was thinking of Blatche too! but wanted to include these other players too that are young,
have good size and could work in the system. Jason Thompson, Javal McGee, Greg Monroe, Marc
Gasol to name a few.

Washington is probably going to laugh at this trade offer. Blatche is worth way more.

The suns roster as it stands is full of guys that are fun to watch, but on paper, suns are short on talent and depth at the 4 and 5 positions, but I'm still willing to see what happens in November when we get to watch these guys on the court together. I'm keeping expectations low, but let's give Warrick a chance to play w/ this team and see if he steps it up.

As a fan, I can't see myself giving up any of the guys on our roster to get blatche in return. Problem is you have to pay a premium to get guys with size (double-premium for size and talent), and blatche is one I'd be willing to take a risk on (but not sending hill AND dudley, and I don't know what they would want from suns to get a deal done).

I could be wrong, but I think blatche has personality issues, locker room issues and motivation issues. This suns team probably would help turn those problems around, and it wouldn't hurt to not have to play w/ Arenas anymore (don't shoot me, Gilbert)...

Wiz fan here and the team is high on Blatche. Unfortunetly for us, Blatche broke his foot and will be out for 3 months. You guys probably havent heard about that because it wasnt big news around the league but I thought it shouldve been. I was so high on him that I thought alot of the talk this year couldve been about how it was a crazy FA offseason with alot of 4's getting a ton of money but maybe the most talented guy of all of them makes only 3mil a year in Dray.

He had some issues in the past but he's never been a bad kid. He's just been lazy but alot of people think that had alot to do with the fact that no matter how much he did, he was always going to be stuck on the bench behind AJ & Wood. Even when AJ got hurt early last year, Flip started Oberto over him. Its been like that Dray's whole career. Then he finally got a real shot and blew up. This offseason was supposed to be big for him and everyone said that he had been working out every day, dieting right, and training like crazy. Thats why the injury sucks so much.

He was a beast last year even though he was doubled every play, out of shape, tired from the crazy minutes, and we were playing a beast sked. There is no way that you couldve watched us play late last year and thought it was a fluke like alot of people on the outside say. They think he was just putting up numbers on a bad team. If you watched our games then there is no way you would think that. I saw him go head up with guys like KG, Nene, Josh Smith, and kill them. I would take him easily this year over Amare if he didnt have that injury. Now he basically will be coming into the season rusty, out of shape, not having worked on his game any, and so on.

I do agree with him last year when he was saying that people think it will be harder for him to do that stuff this year when we're healthy but he thinks it will be easier because he will have scorers like Gil to where he cant be doubled and now he has a guy like Wall to get him easy baskets when last year he never got any easy points. He had to always score straight up every game. The good thing is that an article just came out yesterday where he was sayign that his spirits are up and that the basketball itself is just instincts so he's not worried about that. Right now he said he's just dieting, rehabbing, and still doing some kinda workouts. Everyone says that he looks much leaner than last season

He averaged 8 as a starter and in one of those games he only played like 6min. He also started off getting big rebounding numbers every game but then they went down because he wasnt in shape, wasnt use to the minutes, and had to carry the team on Offense. Trust me, rebounding is not a problem of his

he is a talented player and has lots of potential. talent wise he may make the suns better but productively we lose a lot with hill and dudley gone. When its all said and done, the suns need productiion. Goran and lopez began making a splash when they produced. u look at EC he has a lot of talent but he doesnt produce. u look at lawal, he doesnt have as much talent but he produces. production makes the suns better not potential. So NO!! get his lazy butt off the suns locker room.

Yup. People over-value our bench players. Dudley is great but i would deal him for a young, talented PF in a heartbeat.

totally:

and Blatche is a stud. he's just like Jermaine O'Neal. came out of high school. had to wait a few years to mature, and he'll explode.

Blatche would actually be a legit Amare replacement. He was dominant after they traded Haywood, Butler, Jamison and Arenas got suspended so he's gonna have a lot of value right now, but he has superstar potential. I just don't see Washington trading away the potential a Wall Blatche pick and roll would have.

I think last year, Blatche really took the whole Wizards team on his shoulders, although he didn't necessarily win, he was the prime scorer and the go-to guy. There was that stretch of games where you sawing him dropping 20+ night in, night out, and yes I don't see the Wizards giving him up that easily.. and yes I don't see the Suns trading Hill + Dudley for him, and I wouldn't do that either but if they traded one of those two and say Earl Clark or someone.. Blatche would be such a good fit into the Phoenix lineup.

Sucks to hear about his injury I would have loved to have seen a full season out of him.
