Does anyone else think Robin Lopez is pretty much the same player as Joakim Noah? Hustles, rebounds, and defends. Although Noah is a bit more advanced/a better player at this stage, pre-injury Lopez was looking like a beast and did pretty well against LA considering he was hella rusty. Rolo actually has a pretty decent FT shot though and his offense looks like it's been improving and he'll surely be more of a threat on the P&R now that Amar'e is gone. So whaddaya guys think? Same type of player? Less of a player? Better player?

I don't know what all the fuss is about Jokim Noah. OF course, I haven't seen much of him. I'm pretty sure hes a better defender/shotblocker than Fropez for sure. But again, I'm not the best to judge.

i gotcha i'm just trying to figure out how far along lopez is because i didn't get a chance to watch too many suns games this past season, but i've heard a lot about how good noah has gotten. and yeah arrested development is sooo amazing.

Lopez is a traditional center while Noah is a hybrid PF-C. Lopez has a post game while Noah is basically like Lou where he does a whole bunch of different things to score. Lopez can't rebound, Noah can. Both are good blockers. Lopez is laid back and a surfer, Noah is punk that tries to act like a celeb (ala a more outspoken Jared Dudley with a larger ego) . I think that about sums everything up

I don't think you can really compare them because the bulls play in a much more defensive oriented system and the suns do their little group rebounding thing where rolo is mainly expected to box out but I don't think he will ever put up the same rebounding numbers as joakim but his offensive numbers should be higher and I don't watch noahs game as much as i'd like to but id say right now he is a better defender at his position. But who knows what happens with amare good and with boozer in chicago noahs numbers might go down with a legit big next to him.

Hahaha yeah but I STILL can't believe how close we were to drafting Noah...if only Atlanta's pick fell out of the top 3 in that draft...We probably would've won a championship by now and (this is complete speculation) we would've beat the Lakers because SOMEBODY would've boxed out Artest haha.

Noah is a bit better offensively, he's quicker on his feet, is more athletic imo and is a better player right now but I see a lot of comparisons between the two players.

I dunno if Rolo can be better than Noah since I think Noah is going to be a very good player and has all-star potential but Rolo should be a solid starter.

I don't find them to be too similar.

I would do filthy things to have Noah playing PF here though.

noah is more talented. he pretty much right now is what we hope rolo is going to become.

Noah is a terrific player and next to Boozer he'll be even better. RoLo might have a higher ceiling offensively but if he only equates to Noah then i'll be safisfied.

Noah would look great next to Amare. He'll be gobbling up all the rebounds "left" for him by Amare.

If Lopez can build his game up like Noah has, I'll be happy. Noah is a freakish rebounder, and thats what I want Lopez to be.

Is that it??? Reb=hustle and desire. Rob can get/has that. Rob has offense, surprise, surprise. Noah was being talked of as a bust after his first year and a half. Rob has barley played half a season!!! Wait until he gets the opportunity Noah has had.

Robin has offense and defense ability. I want both in my player. You can't see that spin move he put on Gasol in the finals? Dude has a left and a right hook shot. Unlike some of you guys, I want to have a big that can score and play defense. Having a scoring big and banging big crowds the paint, which will limit our style.

After 2 years, you guys will be thanking the guys we didn't get 'limited' Noah!!

ROLO is going to break out this year. I expect 15/7 from him this year.

I would rather his break out year look like 12/10/2.5
