PHX RealGM - Premier Auction

Gentlemen,
This will be the inaugural run of the PHX Board's Auction Roto league. The rules and scoring will be identical to our normal Roto league, but with a twist.

http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/baske ... 9_auctionsA couple of points:1. I would ask that you only sign up if you're willing to stay involved. Leagues suffer when they are filled with uninterested players. Don't ruin what could be a fun game for others.
2. We will have a live draft. We will decide the best time for everyone once we get set up, but I will tell you I have no clue how autopick would work for this format. You're going to want to be there, otherwise it will just feel like any other Roto league.
3. The positions will be slightly different than in our other formats: PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, Util, Util, Util, Bn, Bn, Bn - to mirror the way the mock drafts are set up, we will have one additional Util player in this format
4. The point-scoring categories will be the same as well: PTS, REB, AST, BLK, STL, FG%, FT%, 3PTM

Why don't we start out at 6pm CDT on the 10th (next Sunday) and see where that gets us discussion wise?

So after the draft it basically operates as a rotisserie league?
I tried a mock, but learned the lesson that I probably shouldn't be downloading torrents when we do it
Tried unsuccessfully to bid on 3 separate players, wouldn't register my bid cause I was lagging. Seems like it'll be fun, I've got to do some mocks though as it's a whole new thing for me!

I just got done with a mock, it was intense. Not quite sure what my strategy will be... seems there are a lot of different ways this can go.

Lets only do bad stats! Like: TO's, Fouls, Techs, Flagrants, Missed FT's, Minutes, Games lost.
But on the real, i say keep it the same 8 cats.

Yeah the same stats I think are a pretty good set.

Well, i would add you to the list, but as you can tell, my thread wasnt good enough (even though i probably spend the most time on the board). You will be forced to wait for Sun Scorched to add you.

ESPN or Yahoo? And can we wait for more fantasy basketball info to come out before the draft?

Not lol, just funny in general. If any thread needs some funny or needs an uplift or just needs some Chris Rock, insert Chris Rock photo. Its just that simple.
