OT: Get an autograph from the Away team

Post#1 » by chicagoballer » Fri Oct 1, 2010 4:28 am

Hello fellow RealGMers,

I am huge chicago bulls fan who lives in phoenix for school now. I hope posting this here is not against the rules; if so, please delete!

I plan to go the December bulls game and would like to get my jersey signed by D. Rose. What would be the best place to sit? I am not the one to spend a ton of money of tickets but they only come here once, so I dont mind paying premium. Any other tips? If I come early, can I get an autograph?

Thank you, and good luck to the suns this season!

I get many autographs from the tunnels. If you get there when the teams originally practice and head down when they go back in... You should get one. Thats where I get Suns sigs.

Best opportunity is to get there way way early. Make a big Bulls/Rose sign. The time you are most likely to get autographs is when they have their pre-game warmups hours before the game starts. There should be little to no people in the stadium, so you can walk right up to the anouncers/press tables and just keep calling his name and holding up your sign. Most of them are glad to see some love on the road.

Good luck my friend. I enjoy loyal fans like you no matter the team.

Key word: loyal.

Key word's arch nemises: bandwagon.

Keep it up! I think Rose will have a great year.

They usually open the doors to the arena 1 hour before tip-off. Make sure you get there about 1.5-2 hrs before tip-off. Then once you get in the door, head to the court and go to the side the Bulls are warming up on (should be the south side of the court). About 20 minutes before tip-off security will start telling everyone to head to their seats.

Thanks for the info!

I agree SS, gotta stay loyal to your team. Bandwagon heat fans are going to be obnoxious to deal with. Funny thing is... I became a Bulls during the 1999 season; it sucked for a few years, but last few years have been fun. Especially the Boston series and watching Rose/Noah develop.

Suns have always been a team I liked because of their up-tempo offense, but I don't know what to make of this season. After watching a few games, I will have a better Idea. Good luck to you guys!
