It's gonna cost monthly to play from what I hear. I'm sticking with battlefield bad company 2, which is also releasing a Vietnam multi player add on pretty darn soon. I've had bfbc2 since spring break and I'm still not sick of it. And it doesn't cost me anything monthly.

If there's a single-player mode, then I'll be buying this. Short as they are, the SP modes are the only reason I bought MW and MW2, mostly because they were retardedly good. Well, MW2 also had those challenge modes for after you finished the SP campaign, which also rocked.

I'm considering getting this, simply because there's a single campaign set in pre-1998 Hong Kong when we still have some sense of liberty and freedom of speech.
Btw the Hong Kong International Airport used to be in Kowloon. It was moved to an area far away from urban areas.

I am now downloading the Skidrow release. Will play for a day or two (SP mode only :( ), then pick up the full version friday or saturday.

So any PC players want to start up a clan? :D

I was playing it last night at my mates for like 6 hours. It's pretty fun but I'm terrible noob so yeah. Only thing missing is the Spec Ops mode. My mate and I had something like 3 stars left in MW2 for Spec Ops and was pretty excited about playing it in Black Ops so we were a little disappointed. Still we played some mad split screen online.

I probably won't be buying this for awhile, there is a strange steam issue where only Japanese versions of the game will be authenticated in Japan so I can't pick up a cheap US or foreign copy and I am not about to spend 60+ dollars on a game right now.
I will stick with EA for now since it's cheaper and I currently have BFBC2 and might get MOH later on when the price drops to around 30 dollars or so.
EA./DICE games bought in Asia seem to work just fine wherever you are unlike Activision games.
