Mavs fan has Nash question

Sort of an idle question, but, what would you guys want for Steve Nash? I am a Mavs fan dreaming of a Dirk/Nash reunion, sort of like your Stockton/Malone duo.
thanks for responding

nothing on your team would interest me in nash...and would never want to see him in a mav uniform again. No young talent, no proven star besides dirk who is going to continue being good for more than a couple years at most

If I was FORCED to make a deal with Dallas, it'd have to be something like Tyson Chandler +Rodrique Beaubois + pick.
Tyson Chandler = Expiring
Rodrique = Young talent
Pick = Because if you trade Nash, you aren't getting equal value in return. You must get expiring deals, young talent and picks...
However, I doubt either side would pull the trigger on that.

The only way I would trade Nash to the Mavs is if it helped us get Josh Smith to the Suns.
Suns trade Steve Nash to the Mavs
Mavs trade Tyson Chandler to the Hawks
Hawks trade Josh Smith to the Suns
Maybe then, the Suns would consider it

That aint half bad. Sign me up although ATL might need a pick or something.

Thank you all for your feedback.
It was pretty much what I expected. The most realistic deals included Tyson Chandler. Of course, I was hoping you could be persuaded with a package like:
Roddy Beaubois
Jason Terry
Alexis Ajinca
But, I understand your wanting Chandler. I want him, too!

I've wanted Chandler since there were rumors of a Ben Wallace for Tyson Chandler swap, which never happened. But now that Amare's gone, I don't see much use of Chandler.

I think Roddy Beaubois, Tyson Chandler, and a lottery pick would be pretty reasonable. I don't think the Mavs own the rights to any potential lotto picks, though. As long as the Mavs have Dirk (especially w/Nash, too), they'll be picking in the mid-20s or so, and those are the picks the Sarver Suns have valued the least. So even if the Mavs threw in 3 first-rounders (which is kind of preposterous), that's basically just throwing in $9mil. Which sounds like a lot, but Nash is probably worth double that in ticket & jersey sales.
