Seriously why would the real Steve Nash ask fans about this when he could just put Saver the idiot on the spot and ask him I am sure they would say not unless you want me to because Sarver is a complete moron. When will the media put heat on Sarver for his stupidly rushed free agent signings this is all his fault! So why would the real Nash pose this question to his fans ? He doesn't seem like the kind of player that would beat around the bush no he is more like the player that would tell it like it is so the front office idiots would damn well know what it is he wants! WHat do you all think ?

Guys, it's really him. It's always got stuff from meathawk, things he'd say as the status update, and it had a video after the Utah win that was recorded with his phone, where at the end of it he said "this is going on facebook." Dudley recorded him recording it and put it on his twitter

Yes, its the Real Steave Nash's Facebook page.
He hands out free tickets for answering his trivia questions, auctions off autographed shoes for his charity.
Its the real Nash.

I posted a youtube link to Weezer's "Say It Ain't So"
Although if Nash wanted out I would support him wherever he went.

I feel like he would have made it more of a joke if he didn't at least entertain the idea in the back of his mind. If Sarver asked if he wanted to be traded to a contender, I feel like he'd probably say yes at this point, and I doubt anybody could possibly be mad at him for it

Very solid post. I agree with all your points.

Just to join the crowd, I'l reiterate that yes, I't Steve and posting that is very much in keeping with how he conducts his public life - if people are interested enough in his career to support his charities, support his little home movie projects and join his social network, then he treats them as interested parties and 'friends', in the online sense - he's very much about 'inclusion', within reasonable limits
I don't think it's any kind of message to the FO, though. He's never shown much inclination to play games with negotiation - he just asks for what he wants, makes his case as to why he ought to get it, and goes from there. I admire that strategy - makes life simple and takes personalities out of it. Also, he's a lot tougher than his Liberal viewpoint might lead one to believe. He's no patty-cake - remember the last line he has in SSOL?
So while I think he's definitely canny enough to use something like FB to his advantage in dealing with management, I doubt he'd bother. So that leaves the simplest explanation - he just wonders what everyone thinks about it.
