Even though they have been struggling, it will be a tough game. We have been terrible at doubling, often leaving guys wide open to hit the three. If we stay at home on their players, with very little doubling, while shooting a decent percent, we have a good shot at winning this game. Strange that both teams are better than their records show.
Nice game thread! A bit distracting, but nice.

It is imperitive that we shoot the ball well in this game for us to win. We also must be at least capable of trying to keep the rebounds respectible. Hopefully Earl Barron can help us with that.

I put Warrick in the starting 5 as i think he might start there.
Gentry made the comments about not playing Turk on good/big PF's like Z-BO, and i think Bosh might be in that category. Warrick matches better with Bosh and Turk matches better up with Haslem.
And we need to keep a defender on James Jones at all times. Dude is killing it from behind the 3 point line this year.

LoL, awesome game thread, Kerrsed. The batman, robin, alfred pic is full of WIN.

I'm worried about the doubling too. Wade, Lebron, and Bosh will get their shots but it'll probably come down to whether or not we leave their role players (House/Jones/Haslem/etc) wide open to torch us.

Illgauskus outscores the big 3, Bosh blows out his ankle. MARK IT!

I don't know about the pf matchups. I think Turk might know Bosh a little better than Warrick. I may be wrong, but Gentry might look to Turk to handle his old teammate.
I am more worried about House and Jones catching fire. They know our pace, they love our pace, and it will be the poor rotations because of doubling that may help them light it up. Hill will have his hands full with James, and I really don't think JRich can guard Wade. I hope to see JChill and Dudley put in decent minutes on Batman and Robin.

Just to let the OP know, Illgauskus should be starting in place of the pile of crap that is Joel Anthony

Turk did well on the boards against the Nuggets, plus he also started at the PF against Pau Gasol of the Lakers. Turk will get the start over Warrick.

Odom was at PF, Gasol at C.

Odom is still better than Zach Randolph.

Yes, but he is more Turks size/weight, thus being able to defend easier. Turk on Bosh, yeah, not so much.

Not really. Bosh maybe have an inch over the Turk and they are probably within 10 pounds of each other. On the other hand... Haslem, the dude you matched up with Hedo, is harder to guard and is a lot stronger when compared to Bosh.
Gentry would not bench Hedo just to avoid a possible demoralization (now that he is getting in rhythm) if nothing else.
Bosh is a jump shooting finesse big man who had learn to attack to the rim in the last couple of years. His preferred move is to hold the ball for 5-6 seconds and take a 12-18 feet J.
Admit it...it is the hate isn't it?

If Hedo can not guard the RuPaul of big men, who is he gonna guard?
