Does Phoenix have any interest in trading JR?

If so, what's it going to take for a team like the Bulls to get a deal done?

Unless you're interested in trading Noah (not happening), there's no combination of available players on that roster that I'd be interested in trading Jrich for.

Yeah honestly with JRich's ability to perform this season and to give such a large expiring we are (hopefully) only sending him away if we can get a quality big - otherwise Sarver would much rather let the contract expire and save money, or extend him. To me as well, Noah would have to be included - which I fully recognize the Bulls would never do.

Taj Gibson, Korver + fillers COULD work, but IMO that's not good enough. The combination of Jrich and Nash is just too good right now.

Gibson, KT and Korver would be better, but if the Bulls don't extend JRich as soon as possible, they will not be happy with his production. Jrich started out like a man possessed, but maybe that was just to get extension talks going. Since he hasn't heard a word, and with the wire tap just coming out about him, he might be just a big baby about this.

I like Gibson and Korver would be great in our system but yeah, I think JRich (and his expiring deal) is too important to us right now.

Send Carlos Boozer our way and it's a done deal.

I'd trade J-Rich, but not to the Bulls....well, unless they want to be part of a three-way with NJ. I'd trade J-Rich and Clark to NJ for Murphy and Petro. We lose J-Rish, but the opens up the starting 2 spot for Childress or Dudley. That also would allow Turk to be moved to the 3 where he should be and put Murphy at the 4. Yes, he's a three piont big, but he rebounds, and that definitely something the Suns need.

Totally forgot about Boozer, which is understandable since he hasn't played yet this season. I'd do a JRich for Boozer + one of you SG swap.

Why would you want any of their SG's? We don't want or need another wing if we trade one of ours. We need to lose a wing player and gain a legit 4 who can rebound, so that we can move Turk to his natural 3 spot. If the Suns and Bulls could agree on either a straight J-Rich for Boozer or maybe add in Clark for Johnson could be done as well.

TheNash/J-Rich backcourt is argueably the best backcourt in the NBA. It will take alot to pry J-Rich away from us. At the moment, I want to keep him and extend him.

Seeing as how Noah is not going anywhere, the next big I'd ask for is Boozer.

Nash
Hill
Turkoglu
Boozer
Lopez

Now we're talking.

Trade JRich and you give away a third of our offense.

jrich should be an allstar this year... but lately he's been off, but he's been a beast for us this season and if he keeps it up i think he should be an allstar

I think the only plausible scenario is Jason signs an extension. I don't see no interest in a trade.

what makes you say that? Frankly I think he is one of the best trading chips the suns have. Obviously, he is doing good right now but he benefits from nash a lot. I think he may help us win now but as for the future and making the team better- I say trade is the best scenario. At some point the suns are going to have to make a decision- trade for an actual big man or roll the dice with the team we have now. The team we have now may squeek into the playoffs but we are ousted in the first round. I say trade him to New jersey for troy murphy.

Solid post. Unfortunately, I don't really see a win now situation. Keep JRich and we don't have any other worth trade chips to make this team better but if you trade JRich, we lose a big part of the team. I think a move has to be done for the future.
