Would you trade for Lebron?

Post#1 » by NapoleonII » Sun Nov 28, 2010 4:57 am

Will NEVER happen. But, let's take a fun look at the disaster in South Beach.

Lebron/Wade will probably work it out, but as of now, they look unplayable with each other.

Trade checker works after Dec 15th, when Miami will probably still be playing .500 ball....

Nash
Frye
Dudley

For

Lebron
Jones

Would ya do it??

No brainer. Of course.

I would trade Nash, JRich expiring and Lopez for Lebron.

Yes. We could use Lebron at center.

No, for 2 reasons:

1- Principle, I think he is a classless punk and irrespective of how good he is I wouldn't want him on my team.

2- I have a theory that teams whose SF is their best player by a significant margin have a marginal chance of winning an NBA championship. I won't go into it here but suffice to say I believe you have a greater shot with a balance of talent between a small and big.

Yes, in a heartbeat, and I pretty much despise LeBron.

As big as a douche as the guy is, you could easily build a team around him as the star player and he is still young.

Losing Nash, Lopez, and JRich would gut our team, but I think LeBron with our other pieces could still be quite good.

yes but having lebron wont guarantee the suns a championship. why do u think he left cleveland. Although steve is old. I dont see Lebron being the type of leader and have the killer instinct that Nash has shown during his heyday. I still would trade for him though. Knowing the suns- the will be good but they wont win a ring.

Would I trade Amare for Lebron during SSOL prime? Probably not.

When we're playing winning basketball with talks of contending, this so-called Lebron hate would be gone quicker than an SSOL fast break. He's a douche, but he's still a top 3 player in the league and I'd trade anybody but Gentry on this team for Lebron. It's a no-brainer.

I'd rather have Wade. Lesser circus, higher class.

LeBron dominating the ball for SSOL would turn into LeISO more than anything, no thanks.

I'd rather have Wade too. Also Lebron would dominate the ball in SSOL as much as Nash dominates the ball in SSOL. The core of SSOL is guys waiting for Nash to find them and if Lebron ever plays for a half decent offensive coach they'd use Lebron the same way Gentry and D'Antoni uses Nash in our system.

The Heat trainwreck has been very fun to follow this year between LBJ and Bosh's (Please Use More Appropriate Word) comments, and their team sucking.

Lebron shoulda signed with a team that plays a faster tempo and doesn't have another player with the same skillset on it

I would probably use him to get other players. i don't like him at all, but the talent is too great to say no.

Nash just asked what people thought about the Lebron/Jordan mashup commercial. Funny.
