Fancy some AR anyone?

GS last year wouldn't add Randolph in an Amar'e deal with Curry. Well guess what boys, the Knicks now have Amar'me and Randolph, and are looking to dump Randolph for a pick so they can pick up Melo. So what say we give up our pick, get the stud PF we need, and break Hedo's legs so he retires from the game and his contract is voided

I'm on the fence about giving up a first for Randolph. A year ago, definitely yes. Now, i'm not so sure.

I am with you, unless we can get a first trading JRich or JChill or Frye or Hedo

I'll do it. I'd rather watch AR then Earl Barron start.

Sign me up but I'd rather give up Lopez than our pick.

I think I'd do it... It might have to be next years pick though, I'd rather not (and don't think we can) trade this years pick. I think I'd even give them their 2nd rounder back while we're at it
edit: They said several western conference teams have called. We have to be one of them

Now this i would do. The question is would Denver be open to taking Lopez rather than a 1st.
This is what i would like in a perfect world:
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=29555nqNY gets: Melo
DEN gets: Curry/Gallo/Lopez/Clark
PHX gets: Randolph/Chandler
Nash/Dragic
Richardson/Dudley
Hill/Turk/Childress
Randolph/Chandler/Warrick
Barron/Frye/Siler
Yes, i understand that Chandler is a SF, but he has currently been playing PF in NY with Amare at C, and has been doing a great job at it. If we could somehow move Turk, we could slide Chandler over to the back-up SF role.

I'd have a hard time giving up Lopez AND a pick for him. Frye and Mr. Can't-finish-at-the rim have been good, I don't see why inserting Lopez for Barron wouldn't be much better all around. AR would fit well with Lopez. Maybe one of our many many wings instead?

Thats why in my trade i did Lopez and Clark. Tell me Denver would turn them down. They would be receiving a #15 (Lopez) and a #14 (Clark) instead of a late pick (If NY does the Randolph deal with HOU, the Rockets would be giving NY their own draft pick back). With NY making the playoffs this year they would be looking at roughly a #19-#23 pick. Besides Randolph we would be receiving Chandler too.

Well... I'm down for most anything we'd do. We'll just have to see what happens. Hopefully our FO is trying everything they can

I would then follow up the PHX/DEN/NYK trade with a PHX/SAC/MEM 3 way that i posted in this thread here :
http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1074598&p=25951645#p25950883That would leave us at:
Nash/Dragic
Hill/Dudley/Childress
Turk/Chandler/Childress
ZBO/AR/Warrick
Frye/Barron/Siler
MEM - Conley/Richardson/Gay/Landry/Gasol
SAC - Mayo/Evans/Greene/Thompson/Cousins

We know Z-Bo can ball but he'll suck in our system. He's still an offensive black hole who can't run, can't PnR and still a poor defender.
Does the rule where you can't trade consecutive picks apply to us this year? We traded away last seasons pick so this season we shouldn't be able to right?

Correct. If we trade away a pick, it will have to be next season's.
If any of our picks are indeed being traded away, for the love of god, use protection!

I believe you are wrong, you cant trade consecutive
future picks.
But since that was last years pick we traded and not a future, we can trade our current 1st.

So you can trade away your picks every year as long as you don't trade away consecutive future picks?

We did trade pick after pick for straight cash... So maybe
