We would ask why. When a team wants to trade you their 6'11 22 year old center for your 7'0 22 year old center you have to ask why.

Lopez is, when healthy, our starting center. Many of us regard him as the center of our future.

Now our board is split on Lopez as far as where he should be in our rotation and his potential, but they'd be asking the exact same questions about DeAndre.

And I'm one who, like I said above, sees RoLo as our starting center of the future. If we're gonna ship him away it's gotta be a) in a package with Hedo, JRich, Chill or Duds for an upgraded big man or b) to bring in picks with a lesser talent.

Now my last point. In 2008, we drafted Robin Lopez at #15. The same year DeAndre was drafted at #35. Again, just more that our FO would bring up when asking why you want the swap and/or why you think it's a fair swap.

Fair enough, and that;'s a reasonable thing to ask, but I like DAJ. I'd be tempted

DeAndre seems to be a way better rebounder. He can also block some shots. Dude's also pretty athletic.

How about DJ for one of our many wings?

Just because I havent posted on this board before doesnt mean I dont have my own opinion. Kerrsed As a general manager you are, you should be excited to have new voices. I find it interesting how you need to be a long time poster to consider what people say. Im sorry I dont stay up day and night to get points for post like many other members, and then just point them out because they are new. Very welcoming thank you for showing your maturity.

I am excited to have new voices around. The problem that i have is for some ungodly reason when i read your posts, i read them in Mike Tysons voice in my head.

Kick me off for calling an older poster out would just prove my point. And Real GM would be a sad place to post.

Lol Im not trying to bring a intense convo out of it. Im just excited to post on here and now finally get a chance to say something about Rolo. Now everytime I post I get a sarcastic reply. Its so childish.

We here at RealGM are like a community. Like a village. Being new to the village, dont be mad if your hut is next to the tree everyone craps behind. You soon will move to a nicer hut and someone else will be stuck with the smelly one that you currently reside in.
