Really, really solid read from Alex at bright side:
http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2010/ ... -superstarMods, merge if you need to. I thought it was thread-worthy but I can see how it could be merged with the thread about the trade.

Brings good points. What's nice is, we have a couple months to determine if there's something special here.
While I don't think Melo is coming here, it would be worth a shot at inquiring for sure.
I just don't think he leads this team to a ring. At least we'd compete though.

If we want a ring we should try to somehow pry KG away from the Celtics.
Just sayin.
But after reading orlando fan's comments about Gortat and how they'll miss him so much, it sounds like we got a great player in the making here.
THE POLISH HAMMER!!
If you guys have noticed from his clips, he can play the pick and roll well he's agile can catch the ball well and throw down with authority. Nash Gortat pick and roll??? Yessssss

I'm going to be bold and say that, after looking at our players and the contracts that they're on, I don't think we have any "negative" trade-value players. As opposed to having a Diaw, Barbosa, Banks, Turkoglu type, we have young players on decent contracts or productive vets on short contracts.
All of that coupled with our three (3) TE's and two (2) 2011 1st rounders.....

Didn't he knock someone unconscious when they ran into his chest during the Celtics series?

Ok, that cartoon just got me amped up even more to see Gortat in our system, RELEASE GORTAT!
Anyways, in relation to that article, I'm not a fan of trading Lopez unless an absolute sure-fire superstar is available as BSOTS suggests. We have lacked size for sooooo long, its going to be refreshing to see us have 2 capable centers instead of playing the likes of Earl Barron or Brian Skinner.

Gortat reminds me of an actor. Can't remember the name or which movie he was in but yeah. Anyway, I'm really hoping that if a trade was to go down, we wouldn't have to move Lopez or Gortat. For once in a long time, we have a solid C rotation and for a relatively low price. I'd be open to moving one of them if they got us a stud PF (our future starting "superstar" PF).

Looks like he's pretty into lifting, maybe he could get Rolo in the weight room, so he could become a beast too

Voice from Poland:)
Tattoo is a face Marcin's father. His father two times won bronze medal in the light heavyweight division at the Summer Olympics.

Thanks - I dint really think it was Ol' Possum Eyes - George would have to be pretty damn drunk to put the gloves on
Damn, Gortat is a tough looking bugger -
