And his defense against Dirk was great. See Dirk passing the ball away both times?
Why couldn't we play him more?

You don't get it do you? First he played 8 mins, and second that is all he has been having is a few 'good" mins, why, because we played him sparringly. If he'd played more mins, he'd have a played a lot of "good' mins. Some people just don't have an eye for talent. If it ain't Shaq circa 1995; you just can't see it. Some people have to wait until that player is in the all-star game and PEOPL have told you he is good
AND HE DID PRACTICE WELL!!!!!!!!!! Dudley told you why who was playing and who wasn't

When the trade went through, I was at Sky Harbor Airport with a miffed look on my face: why? because Earl Clark was included in the deal.
As some knowledgeable Suns' fans stated he has top 5 talent. David Thrope said he had the highest ceiling in the 2009 draft and Eddie Johson (Suns' play by play guy/Former NBA shooting stud, played until he was forty and knows talent when he sees it!!!) believed he would come into his own once he got time on the floor. Unfortunately for Clark, he is a SF and because he was big enough (6'10 230 )to play the PF, along with the Suns’ desire to build a small lineup even though they don't have to, Clark suffered.
Clark was your typical rookie; afraid to make mistakes and fear of the unknown caused him to play tight. He had one game against OKC where he went for 16 pts and his J was butter. He has played excellent D on James, Dirk, Granger and some Suns' fans forgot how he contain Corey Maggette when we played GS; Clark shut him down!!!! Changed the mo mo of the game and we wound up winning; btw we were down that game, so it wasn't garbage time. You guys saw how good he looked against you when we got slaughtered a few weeks ago.
Clark doesn't have a lights out jumper, but he has good mechanics and he will develop a better shot, once he is told he is a SF not a PF and he starts working on his J instead of post up moves. Clark can go left or right. He is a natural righty who prefers to go left. He can get his shot off over anyone. Clark defense and rebounding is MEAN. Clark has shown that look……That beastie look in his eyes when making a few plays that says” un huh, I am going to be in your ash tonight Mutha f’ka)
Clark IMO has the ability to be a stud. How many people can guard Durant, Bron, and Dirk, giving them fits and making them work hard to get a "clean" look?
We F'd up. We are going to regret the day we traded Clark. We gave him no chance to prove himself even when our beat writer AND Gentry said he was out shining regulars in practice and Gentry was lamenting the fact he could get Earl time (we talking about practice??? ).
I can't wait to watch you guys go "Ha ha, we got this guy for Pietrus!! Save this post and send it to our boards when I am right so I can tell our fan base "Told you so."

I thought the minutes would be subtracted from everybody," Dudley said of the July signings. "When Josh signs a contract like that, he has to play. Hedo has his money. He has to play. J-Rich (Jason Richardson) is going to play because he's a baller. Grant (Hill) is a starter and I feel like I should play so that's five. We're trying to mix and match and do it by committee. That's why for me it was a big deal to get my (extension) deal done."
Coro:Half of the 10-man rotation plays the wing best and Gentry laments that he has not worked in Clark, whose practice effort is outshining regulars. Dudley saw the lights on this oncoming train.
