I started 2010 weighing 226lbs and was probably 23-24% bodyfat. I was a disgusting blob and miserable with how I looked. I hadn't been laid in well over a year. So I decided to get my ass into gear and do something about it. I quit lifting in the summer of 2005 and really let myself go. I am leaner than I was in 2005, but I'm not quite as strong. That is changing though! Anyway, here's the before and after picture. I'm currently 222lbs and about 12-13% bodyfat if I had to make a rough guess.
I mostly did Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength and a mixture of tabata protocol and more traditional high intensity interval workouts. If you have any specific questions, let me know, I'll be more than happy to answer them!
