I really hope Vince is fully healthy and I really can't wait to see Vince play in that Suns uniform. I haven't been as active as I wanted to be on the board since I've been prepping for college, but hopefully things will change and I can get to see Vince and the Suns play.
(Btw, got the 76ers gamethread Calvinklein. Sorry.)
Suns fans anxious for a little “Vinsanity” during the holiday season may get their wish just yet. After being traded to Phoenix on December 18, Suns shooting guard Vince Carter is likely to make his Suns debut Wednesday against the Sixers.
Plagued by tendinitis in his quad that has caused swelling in his left knee, Carter has been rehabbing his knee with the Suns’ training staff since arriving in the Valley. After participating in a portion of practice Monday, Carter returned to the arena Tuesday morning claiming to be both pain-free and swelling-free.
With that knowledge, the Suns training staff allowed him to scrimmage 5-of-5 in practice on Tuesday. Afterwards, he told reporters that he was pain-free once again.
“I felt good,” Carter said. “The first couple minutes were rough. I felt winded quickly, (since I’ve been) out for a while, but once I got going, I felt good.”
