What would it take for Childress to be traded back to ATL?

I was a huge fan of the afro thunder and was so mad that Atlanta let him go. I'm just wondering if there's any price tag on Childress now. Even if it's a 1st round pick or so along with an expiring contract like Etan Thomas or Collins (haven't checked the trade checker yet).

TradeMachine says Childress can't be traded back to ATL within a year. I don't get that though, we signed him....

I think Atlanta had his rights, which enabled us to use the TE in a sign and trade.
Just imagine, if we had signed Amare:
- no warrick (acquired from Amare TE)
- no Childress (acquired from Amare TE)
- yes Frye (MLE)
- no Lou
- yes Turkoglu (Barbosa and Jones trade, still would have happened)
Nash, Dragic
Richardson, Dudley
Hill, Turkoglu
Amare, Clark
Lopez, Frye
And if we still wanted to do the JRich trade we could:
Nash, Dragic
Carter, Dudley
Hill, Pietrus
Amare, Frye
Lopez, Gortat

I don't know why ATL would take him back after trading him...or did they have no option but to trade him for the TPE?

Atlanta owned Chills rights but didn't have the cap space to sign him, so they basically were forced to trade him since he wanted back in the NBA. The Suns were the ones offering the most to him. Atlanta could've sat on Chills rights and not did the S&T with Phoenix and Chill would've had to sit OUTSIDE looking in wanting to play.
