I think it would have made a lot of sense to look into trades involving Turk and their glut of power forwards. Turk would have been much more valuable to them than he was to us, and any of their power forwards would have helped us before we landed Gortat.
Now, I'm not so sure what would make sense. I really like Jamison and Varejao, but at what cost? One wing, Warrick, and a pick for a starting power forward? Which wing?

i think warrick and childress for jamison is fair without picks. i think childress is on a good contract. if the cavs wanted ORL's 1st rnder, for example, that would be OK

Antawn wouldn't be a bad option if we can get him without giving them Carter.
i think he and Nash played together in Dallas so the chemistry is there and they come off the books together

I'd take that all day long and twice on Sundays. They get two younger guys on good contracts; only 2 more of Warricks yrs are guaranteed and we get a starting PF to run with Nash and Grant for two more years and hopefully there will be some free agents left to play with Gortat, Lopez, Goran, Duds, and Pietrus (I like him).

It makes sense for both teams. I think you still have to go after Anthony Randolph....

Jamison? No way. Suns must improve and not become a pension. Nash 37, Hill 38, Jamison 35, Carter 33... Terrible...
IMHO, only 2 Cavs are good for trade: Mo Williams and Leon Powe. I wish Powe come to Phoenix, he still can improve. There is not so many big guys in the league. Powe can be one of them.

We should trade them our young big C with goofy hair, for their big PF/C with goofy hair who is close to averaging a double double for the season.

I gotta agree.... A rotation at sg/sf with Duds, JChill, Pietrus, and Hill is most attractive for next yr+. Getting Jamison is just another soggy bandaid. If he was an expiring deal, I could say may be.
I have never liked Varejoa, but then again, he has never been a Sun. To me, he is the only Cav that really addresses our needs and I see absolutely no reason Cleveland parts with him.
Keep moving folks.... nothing to see here

I think Varejao in a team with better roster will produce max. 5 ppg/5 rpg/5 fpg. He's overrated, overpayed etc.But still, it's only my opinion. Things can go absolutelly other way

For a second I thought you said in and I was about to say, aw that's so harsh dude
Anyway...I think they have some good pieces and yeah Blanks is from that org and knows about alot of the players there also he's probably buddies with alot of people still so I can see him trying to make a deal, only problem is Griffin is now the assistant GM of that team and with the way things ended here he might be bitter and try to cockblock a trade.

Antawn Jamison is where it's at. As I mentioned in multiple threads, Warrick and Childress for Jamison would be the best scenario. Someone already stated that we have enough old guys, but we'd only have to deal with them for the next two years, and then we lose all our big contracts and we can pursue Dwight and CP3. We'd be able to offer them max contracts along with another free agent and create our own big three in Phoenix. But, we'd have a better supporting cast already surrounding them with Frye, Dudley, Gortat, and quite possibly Pietrus, Dragic, and Hill (this guy no longer ages). By the time 2012 hits, the Heat will be even more dominate with better players around their core three, the Bulls will be better, Lakers, Spurs, and Mavs will age, which gives the power in the West up for grabs.

Childress and Warrick for Boris Diaw

I'd also like that!

Not sure where to post this but apparently FO from Suns, Hawks, Spurs, and 76ers are at MSG right now. What could they be doing? RJ, J Smoove, Brand, Iggy trade? this from Aron Phillips' Twitter or the real Aron. Aron works for Dime magazine.
